I thought Anasta made a half break down the sideline for about 20m late in the game. I was watching through angry eyes by then but am pretty sure it was him.

knocked on, caught the ball and ran. didnt count.

Thanks Willow. How does Benji not get a try assist for the first try (Nofo)? Cut out pass that put Ayshford into space. And surely Siro made more than six tackles.

At the risk of sounding like 'Roosterman' (more Rooster than man), Braith's numbers are pretty compelling, and worrying. My new theory is that he will partner Brooks in the halves next year, thus fulfilling his stated desire to play in the 6 again.

Anasta is a half, not an interchange forward. Sironen is not a half, he is a wide-running forward.

Solution…?

Lawrence's stats are pretty decent just had a few mistakes late in the game, could be match fitness.

Blair was much better than his stats, at least the forum noticed! Probably our best in the starting 20.

Buchanan is a workhorse and really liked his efforts!

Ava came on firing and put some good shots on.

Thompson looked very strong in the opening minutes..

If we kept doing what we were doing in the first 20 minutes my bet of nofo FTS into wests 13+ would've paid off. God dammit!!

Is Anasta contracted for next year?

I'm pretty sure he is. I think he is a solid player but I just don't see why we need him.

He'll be around next year, but he's off contract then so we'll definitely be chasing a few players.

He played the last 25 minutes of the match only when we were dropping the ball every set. I don't see him as an impact forward so it's a strange use of him that's for sure.

I too think he'll be in the halves next year. Potter will want an experienced head and he was practicing his kicking pre-game as match as Benji, Curtis and Farah.
