nice stuff off the bench and real good metres from our backs

be a few changes next week, some good, some probably not so much

Not many meters for the forwards. Looking "forward" (great pun) to getting Woods back.

Was Grant at the game? What happened to Aloai?

No he wasn't - it was a hologram.

Taylor is starting to use his bench a lot better - 2 props on it and nobody in the front row playing excessive minutes. It's a big improvement on Woods and Grant playing 60 minutes each. The middle is now being kept fresh and they're looking a lot better for it. We don't have impact forwards so the best way to use what we have is to keep up a relentless tempo.

His next job is to fix the defence on the edges - abort the up and in and introduce the slide with an advancing defensive line.

I've been a big fan of Ava since forever, but I think JJ outpointed him pretty comfortably this week and he seems a bit down on form too. Grant stepped up a bit and with Sue moving to the prop rotation it makes for a hard decision for JT. I'm assuming JJ will drop down on age alone, but it's great to have that sort of pressure pushing the boys to work harder. I'm sure JAC will have 1-5 on notice, whether or not he will get picked is another story. Kudos to Lovett too, noticeable improvement since City-Country.
Like Nelson said, shorter spells from our props seems to be working too. I remember early on talk being about Woods, Grant and Sue aiming for 60 minutes each but this seems to be better for them given Sue's impact and my suspicions on Grant's motor.
Moses' defence makes up for his kicking early on, here's hoping Brooks can take a lesson or two about getting his body in front, because he seems to have the better defensive technique of the two when he chooses to use it.

Yep. Taylor is using the bench well now.

I thought last week that Grant should be dropped to make way for Felise. Grant was good last night though.

We have a lot of quality options at prop now.

I couldn't drop Felise at this point. I reckon he has been great.

All the boys had a dig last night which was great to see, now they need to do that on a weekly basis

Tough decisions coming up for the coach, JAC needs to be in that team but who makes way, also JJ had a crack from the bench and is getting better every game

Jj drops off when woods comes back. We don't want to burn him out as he could be a real goodun. I love his attitude has a real red hot go for a young prop.
