I heard that Farah and Heighington brought up their 100th wins for the Wests Tigers with the win against Penrith. They are the first to achieve that milestone, so a big congratulations to both. Funny how they both scored tries in the game too…

Farah took 179 games to get his 100 wins (55.9%) while Heighington took 194 games (51.5%).

Now, looking at all the players who have played over 100 games for the Wests Tigers (15 so far), who do you reckon has the highest winning percentage?

Fitzhenry ??

Happy has been taken for a ride :roll

We were talking amongst ourselves at the local about this very subject and some bloke in a at table next to us in a Tigers jersey overheard us and said "Its Fitzy" and we believed him . Sneaky Bugger

Marshall is 2nd highest on 96 wins from 171 = 56.1%
Fitzhenry is 11th on 62 wins from 136 = 45.6%

Oh, and Farah is 3rd and Heighington is 8th…

Keefy hasn't played 100 games for Tigers has he?
Then my next guess after Lawrence would big the big hombre, Payten?

Galloway is 6th with 62 from 117 = 53.0%
Payten is 4th with 83 from 151 = 55.0%

This feels a bit like Family Feud. Let's look at the board…

Glad you liked it, Happy Tiger. I did too.

Looking at these stats, I just wonder how we would have gone in 2009 if we had kept Fulton and found a different solution to our salary cap problems…

Fulton in talks

There was a swirl of reaction to the Inside Back's mail yesterday that for Wests Tigers to secure big-dollar Penrith star Luke Lewis it would come at the cost of stalwart back-rower Liam Fulton. While not denying their play for the Blues and Test utility, who would command upwards of $400,000 in the Tigers' salary cap, Wests Tigers officials did deny that their hunt for the 28-year-old's signature would come at the expense of the ever-popular Fulton or Joel Reddy. "In fact, we're in talks with Liam Fulton's manager about extending his deal," the club said. "He is staying, and we're very happy with Joel Reddy." No one would be happier than this scribe to see Fulton stay at the Tigers - he's one of the game's genuine characters. As recently as last year, however, while under contract, Fulton was given permission to talk with rival clubs as the Tigers looked to snare Adam Blair. In 2009, to ease the salary cap, Fulton had to leave the Tigers for the English Super League before returning in 2010.
