Players you miss seeing in our colours

Ghee, i really miss seeing Blake Ayshford play for us and definitely Benji Marshall.

I'll go into bat for you Milky.

I miss seeing an IN FORM and NOT LAZY Blake Ayshford in our colours - He had some brilliant matches for us - namely the Tigers/Roosters Semi in 2010, the crazy 24-22 comeback against the warriors in New Zealand, and I remember him outstripping the one and only Jarred Hayne over 40 metres to score a try a couple of years ago - he was considered a bolter for state of origin centre at one point.

Unfortunately the second Blake became a father, his form went to complete and utter dreck. Could barely get a decent run in the sharks reggies team.

I also miss Mitch Brown from the same era as well.

Tuiaki and Hodgo.

The way that Ellis finished up in England I'm pleased that he didn't stay on but Dwyer could have been anything, that was a cruel stroke of luck.

Hodgo ,Ben Galea ,Tuiaki , Dwyer , Whatuira , Payten ,Ellis , Tyran Smith ,Johnny Skandallis, Cherry Mescia ,even Darren Senter

The blokes you knew who would show up every week and put it all on the line no matter what

I miss watching Dwyer, Ellis, Tuiaki, Shane Walker, Willie Manu…I tell you what, if Manu had the work ethic of Kyle Lovett he would have been brilliant for us.

You could say that for alot of players Willow, including BMM and Fifita bros.

ellis, dwyer, benji and tank for sure.

i never really saw hodgo at his best, loved the way he played though and reckon he would've been my fav player.

For what they were, Senter and Hodgo

For what he could have been, Dwyer

because I loved watching him , Tuiaki

Benji, Hodgo, Scotty Prince, Skando, "Barb" Dwyer, Taniela and Gareth Ellis….

I hope I never have to add Teddy to the list.

Lote and Benji. A few years back I think it was Benji whom did a kick down right side line a few yards in, a set move the ball had spin to the right close to the boundary.Opposing players ran to the ball was going to hit the ground whereas Lote ran to the spin bounce a few yards to the right. So Lote scored without a hand laid on him. That's how you do it.

Lote and Benji for sure… Lote is probably the highest profile player ever to where the jumper and Benji was so majestic in the final 10min of games you always hung onto your tab ticket!

Yeah that seems to be a bygone attitude these days…..

That is why I didn't like them picking on our fighting captain who topped the tackle count - in spite of his off-field melodramatics.

Oh i miss Benji at his prime, going to the games between 2004 and 2011 was like an fun adventure every week, i never wanted to miss a game, you knew something special could happen, and usually did.

Hard to believe I was the first to mention Lote. It's like people forgot he played for us. I remember just how good he was for us before he was injured. From the minute he laced boots on for us he raised the entire club to a new level and I think we suffered losing him just about more than anyone. He lent a real level of professionalism to the entire club imo.
