why did we keep jamming in when a pass over the top was always a chance (or should I say left the door open) and we kept up the same in the second half?? Bizarre..

That is how our stupid backs operate. They are totally disfunctional

Talau is just not a first grader.

It has been Nofo's move forever, sometimes its justified as we are out numbered.
I can distinctly remember 5+ situations were he has jammed on short sides for no reason and got caught out.

Nofa does it so often that I can only believe that he's instructed to do it.

Well, according to Brandy, that was the message..

Apart from Talau's lack of pace and football nouse, he is not prepared to chase hardwhen a break is made. It is too easy to leave it to someone else. He watched Murchey run past him to score.

We would be the only team that can create an overlap for a team playing a man short

If an assistant coach actually did their research they would of seen the Warriors all year have a high completion rate minimal risk approach and spread the ball with fast, flat long cut out balls.

If you play compressed defense they will wipe you off the park.

Regardless of our defensive structure the usual mistakes every game where made. BJ made terrible decisions as always & had no urgency, Talau was found out as a winger yet again and Nofa failed when it mattered the most which surprise no one.

Warriors did their homework we didn’t.

All wingers at all clubs are told to support their centre if they go in,the FB/cover is supposed to look after overlaps

Yep yep yep. I often wonder if we do video sessions. We don't seem like a very smart / adaptable team.

Well he does have an awesome example of dedication & hunger in BJ inside him. Talau isn’t a winger and has been found out. Hopefully we never see him on the flanks again. Put him into the backrow in reggies for the rest of the year to learn his trade.

Some of our players don't have brains

I've mentioned before I think they're coached to do it. In commentary they said they're coached to jam in to pressure the playmakers.

People love to bag Nofo but if he's doing what he's told it's a different equation. The ones which annoy me more are the clear misses and lazy efforts.

In fairness to Nofo he saved two tries tonight. They would have scored if he didn't take the intercept because they had an overlap.

he was 3 men in on their last try. AD was holding as he needed to, Nuffa was chasing butterflies. All on Nuffa

That was a terrible play. He was shoulder to shoulder with Murchey and simply rolled back into a jog while Murchey made the effort to get in position to score.
