Yes, long before this crisis I have felt that the current governments and their policies have the power to literally control my child's future environment, as the planet reaches tipping point and as such have taken a much greater interest in the leaders of powerful nations.

Nothing annoys me much more than rascism in electioneering and that is exactly what we have seen play out over the past week. This was obviously done to divert attention from the previous lies of the failed earlier campaigning approach to the virus, such as when wearing his red KAG cap to the CDC and not remotely addressing the huge issue at hand, of which they had tremendous knowledge from briefings. Racial attacks there have been ramping up by the day as a result of his rhetoric, which was in stark contrast to that of the VP and other's standing at the lectern and as of the past minutes I have no doubt that powerful law enforcement figures have told the white house that deaths would result if he continued with it.

I was listening to the daily US briefing on the Fox News YouTube channel when I opened this notification and I note positively that the rhetoric seems to have stopped today, so I assume that they stopped crossing out the word Corona and replacing it in permanent marker with Chinese in his speeches, which illustrates just how deliberate it was.

At this point of the address I have not heard him mention China nor immigrants, so it looks like they have realised the error of their ways. Hang on, I take that back, as he has just started talking about China in answer to a general question on his previous dismissive position. His answer though, was much different to the past days and whilst calling them out, he dealt with it appropriately.

It is good to see that he can actually do it, as the nation and world need today's version of the man and particularly so right now. As long as Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon can stick even remotely to the facts, we can all put up with the unnecessary incredible, the best and the greatest type jargon, but from the questioning, he must also stop writing misinformation, particularly medically related on Twitter.

As for my direct contact to rascism, I am a white male, however, my family is subject to it on just about every single day that they leave the house and it is very real, so it sits firmly in my chest.

Like I said previously, Im not looking to agree or disagree with anyone in this thread about politics. That is the nature of political discussion, its very difficult to discuss it a bit. If I would like to do that, I would like to discuss it in more than shallow terms and then I would go to the politics thread for that. Actually Hobs Centrelink ask people not to go to the offices but go online through mygov….it crashed yesterday ….I got to start my application,but it asked for my Customer Reference Number...it was the only thing I haven't got so it kicked me out..I rang the phone number but was told we are inundated with calls atm call back later...here it is later ...Im still in the same place I was yesterday and no better off..

Send an email via the contact information on the website and take a couple of screenshots to then send yourself. That way you will be able to receive payment backdated to this date. I am no expert, but had to deal with them last winter and it was like negotiating a minefield in my circumstances, but expect everything will go through unquestioned at this time.
I would suggest that you might want to put information such as your passport or birth certificate numbers, driver's licence state and number, Medicare card, plus banking BSB and Account numbers if there is an appropriate section.. That way they have all your details and hopefully will start a file for you.

Maybe, though I saw minister Anne Ruston fronting up for yesterday's liar and she said identity would only be checked on an honesty basis and no need to upload documents with a picture etcetera.

I tried that cochise,but they were overwhelmed with phone calls ...I will try again in the morning,if no success I will camp on their door until I get in or get an answer...I have no income,I got no answer from my super fund because they are inundated...next step I have just enough to buy a 1Ltr bottle of Wild Turkey and a carton of coke cans 4 packs of Winfield gold...and Im going to enjoy the conversations with myself...in case you don't know I think I have issues so Im gunna enjoy the ride..hahaha ..what else is there to do...talk to you lot?..I may as well buy a straight jacket and try and put myself in it..that will be fun..

Yeah, I wasn't trying to disagree with you. I have researched the super payout stuff as I am going to have to access mine early too. Basically in mid April you will be able to apply on mygov for $10000 and then in July another $10000, you do not need to contact your super fund at all. The government info sheet can be found here.

Mate you should know the IQ level up there is pretty low...to much sun,beach and toad munching has got to them..anybody in there right mind would postpone the voting and keep everybody safe..not at risk..but it is Qld the sunshine state,where they do things differently to the rest of us...I hope everyone is safe but imagine if thousands teated positive to the virus with several deaths from it...would it be worth the golden vote to stay in power...

It was interesting to see on the news the other night when the stimulus was announced ,the uniting of both major parties to defeat this virus...Albo was interviewed and was asked why it was taking so long for money to reach the people who are desperate for rent..
Albo said something along the lines of the govt is doing its best with so many people out of work at once,the landlords should take some responsibility and understand the enormous task at hand or they wont have tenants..he got a fair bit of support from me and I don't really care for picking which party is doing its best,they appear to be working together to get things done..
