@Tiger Watto said:Regardless of who is the leader of these parties, we must vote for someone at the next election and that is what keeps these monkeys in office… So sadely, 80% of Australians are gona vote left or right, and we will again be left with 20% of this countries population deciding who runs the country. :crazy
**Time to overhaul the whole Electoral process... Lets start with abolishing Compulsary Voting!!!** :brick:
Or we could act like we are in Egypt??? :smiling_imp:

Anywho, looks like unless there's No Beer & Petrol Tax party candidate or a decent Independent in my electorate next election I think I will be joining Smeg and parting with a cool five hunjy, or at the very least submitting an informal vote with my colourful assessment of the current state of Australian politics.

Where did you get the $500 figure from CB
When they buggered up mine (I actually voted in Toowoomba ) about ten years ago it was $30.00 fine
@Rambo2714 said:Lol "at unprecedented debt " ….. Our debt is amongst the lowest of any developed country in the world .
Also under Labor Govt is a service not a business , so business experience is irrelevant . How about measuring parliamentary experience wouldn't that be relevant ?

Didn't get the figure from anywhere. I made the assumption the fine for not voting would be a ridiculous amount, like skipping jury duty.
Even better now… I'll only part with a pineapple and have $450 left to piss away on the cardies since the ALP backflipped on the gambling policy. Thanks Julia!
