Glenn, you're being very unreasonable you know. I posted the funeral procession video to highlight the sheer scale of the can of worms that's been opened. I stopped reading the rubbish you wrote earlier on,

And yet you kept responding to it, even without reading it.

copy+paste right wing crap.

Assumptions are your go-to and the reason this thread is done.

You site usatoday.com and militarytimes.com as sources - It was always going to be difficult for us, I understand why you feel you might be done.

Im glad you understand, you have demonstrated it yet again in your hypocrisy. The reasons I used those websites is because they had photos of the smouldering remains of the building that you defiantly declared "***there was no breach!***". BBC also reported it however I didnt use their site because they didnt have photos. When confronted with irrefutable proof that you were wrong, you ran away. You are correct, I cant have a legitimate discussion with an unprincipled coward like that.

You repeatedly told me that I "didnt know what I was talking about" or "Wrong!", each time I graciously didnt say you were wrong, but pointed out that two things can be correct at the same time and it is possible for us to have differing opinions. This is despite the fact that you stand there like Baghdad Bob, saying "nothing to see here" as parts of the US Embassy building is smouldering.

There have been many posts in here where someone has corrected me and Ive copped it and learned from it. You wont and you will not learn from it, just live in your self righteous bubble. Well I cant have a discussion with someone like that.

The hypocrisy of you questioning those two legitimate websites because you deem them to be right wing but post the author of a paper extolling the Iran-Hezbollah Proxy. My god. She didnt even say it was what you said it was....he post tellingly says..."this appears to be....."

Im glad you understand that it is not possible to discuss legitimate issues with someone who will not stand by what they say and resorts to baseless name calling at every opportunity.

Talk soon

No we wont.

Lol 4 more posts after the first last post...

Thats fair enough, but the airstrike on Soleimani was in Iraq not Iran and the US are there at the invitation of the Iraqi government to help quell Iranian backed militia.

**Happy New Year All! From the horrible oppressive terrorist country of iran!**

No one is saying the Iranian people are to blame... its their government.
If you’re there you must see a lot of anti hardline fundamentalist sentiment.
I’ve got Iranian friends who have been praying for Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon to get rid of the current government since he was elected.

true i've heard it as well but then again every country i have travelled to people complain about their government. Nothing more polarising than politics. I was in tabriz when i heard scomo was in hawaii LOL jesus christ...

seems to me the US/Israel have this insatiable thirst for oil. if memory serves me correctly it was an Aussie back in the day who discovered the oil in iran then the shah got rid of him because he wasn't giving the locals a fair go. Pretty sure he had something to do with BP. Knox Mckay or something.

The late MP Tony Benn, giving his reasons in UK parliament for why he wouldn’t vote in favor of the Iraq war in 1998. Relevant today

Yeah, they don't like their government. Similar to our sentiments of Scomo of late. mossadegh is generally revered. If you look at the women here a lot of them have their hijab at the very very back of their head LOL it's like theyre not even wearing it. And nose jobs here man....jesus...never seen so many beautiful noses but then again i suppose that's why it is the nose job capital of the world

Must have been a bloody long minute the day you were born Col. How you going with your evidence based rebuttal mate? Must be 12-18 months now, looking forward to a comprehensive argument.

It’s a war crime to target cultural sites, outlined by the resolution passed by the UN in 2015.

Just saying

It is. More then that it erases our history.
I remember seeing footage of the Taliban exploding historic buddist? sites in Afghanistan. They were massive stone statues that had stood for over 1,000 years, gone by illiterate Jihadists. I also remember my history teacher talking about Egypt needing to flood part of the Valley of the kings to build a dam. I think it was the Aswan dam which meant discovered and some undiscovered Egyptian sites were lost underwater. All this was gone for future generations, these days we could have mapped the locations with Drones reasonably quickly....

This mindless destruction is what Jihadists in America are now threatening Iran. We should not accept this Terrorism. Muslim against Christian, Christian against Muslim, Buddist against Hindu... I don't care, I will call it what it is terrorism.

The Buddha's of Bamyan in Afghanistan. I think the Afghans and Japanese governments are working together to remodel them after the original works - not the same obviously. Same in Iraq & Syria, ancient Babylonian, Sumerian art & statues lost for all eternity.

Just another example how clueless the man is in regards to the law. Any law. The Pentagon came out and said that won’t be happening. It must be exhausting for The Pentagon and even his own administration to have to watch him like a mother watching a toddler, in case he rage tweets from his porcilen throne and they have to walk it back. Happens constantly.

The amount of pre-Roman cultural heritage destroyed during the Syrian Civil War by the Jihadis was reprehensible. UNESCO regard the destruction such cultural heritage as a war crime.
