Cini for Prime Minister, let's make it happen.

OK TL, but does that mean we'll have to play Morrison on the left wing?

6 months later and this loser is still crying about the election. Put any microphone in front of him, no matter what the occasion, and he’ll use the moment to soothe his fragile ego. Claiming they are still counting votes 😆😂

In Trumps mind you would never lose a game and win each one by record margins

Can you imagine it if we lost in golden point. "We had a beautiful thing going here for us and they stole it. They stole it away from us"

Come to think of it, maybe he's already here on the forum!

In the land of the deranged an 11-12 year old girl pulled out a gun and started shooting at school wounding 2 classmates and a teacher.Fortunately it appears that all will survive at least physically if not mentally unharmed.

So, apparently Scummo is making an announcement today (4/5) about "unwanted pests" in our environment?

I can write it for him: "I am one. I'm leaving for Hawaii, permanently".

What a joyous day that would be for Australia.

At least it is Morrison and hopefully we dont have to witness Albo weave his magic on the country

One trillion dollars in debt. LNP sound management in motion.

You must be Gerry Harvey or Gina Rinehart to blindly continue to back them.

Unfortunately CB everybody has an opinion in regard to their PREFERED political side...you seem to be a Labor voter and Im a LNP voter...however I can change sides as long as that side does its very best for the people and country, which far to many times they look after themselves first and foremost...
Eddie Obied was given whatever he wanted when he was a minister..he promised the people change and would do what ever he could to help them...How did that work out,he ripped off the state and its people while feathering his nest and family to the hilt...Im glad he is in gaol ..its where he belongs as do several other politicians from both sides...

every jelly backed polititican sprouted out of the 90's,all across the free world [?]from there on in most of them have not lived the real life as thou's that went b 4,

What do you mean by "unfortunately"? Should opinions different to yours not be allowed?

Well here's mine, for what its worth; it's interesting that you have to go back to Obeid to justify your "preference" for political parties. You could look no further than your current mob in Canberra to find corrupt conduct that is enabled by LNP leaders; Taylor, Porter, McKenzie, Joyce to name a few. Then add Gladbags, Porkilaro and Sodoti from the state LNP.

But, sure, go back to Eddie Obeid, who, deservedly, is cooling his time in the big house. But, we're going to need a much bigger house if those same standards are applied to your mob of shysters, crims and spivs. I can't wait for the day!

Sorry I touched a nerve in regard to your hero Obied, read what I wrote in regard to this post, especially the last sentence..."its where he belongs as do several other politicians from BOTH sides"...

And, read what I wrote about him deserving to be where he is. Hero, that's hardy inflammatory is it? Typical of your mob though.

And read what I wrote...BOTH sides of politics...

I've voted Liberal and Labor both in the past. At the moment, I believe the LNP are sending us into a generational debt that will hit my kids and for some reason they seem hellbent on getting into conflict with China, while selling the country out from under us to them. The average Australian, inclusive of small business owners, does not benefit from the LNP being in power at the moment.

As for your Obeid whataboutism, you will never hear me complain about corrupt politicians from any party getting their comeuppance. That's why I have respect for the NSW opposition leader Jodi McKay, she was offered a bribe by Tinkler to approve a mine and she reported it. Because she refused the bribe, Tinkler and Joe Tripodi ensured she got rolled when her seat came up for contest. It would seem there is a distinct difference between how corruption in the ALP and the LNP gets handled though. ALP pollies go to gaol, LNP pollies profess they were dumb in love in the paper and get to stay as premier.

I have been a long time reader of the forum, but not an active member.
I have always had a interest in politics and follow, read & got to know a few in my time and I have always voted (for the last 44 years) for the party I believe had a plan for the country that involved moving in forward direction for the good of us all and not a select few.
This country has a very poor distribution of the ownership on the media and therefore always gives one side a free ride. For example name on electronic or other means of media that is bias to the left. I will save you the trouble, the Guardian is obviously left in its out look. Please do not try and tell me the abc is left bias, they are the only media outlet that has a code of conduct as legislation to be even handed.
My own personal political awareness journey developed much further when I started uni as a mature aged student, thank you Gough, and my love of reading is still with me now. My observation is that the more educated one becomes, the more one tends to lean towards one political direction.
I can name numerous changes one party has made to this country, widows pension, 8 hour day, nationalised health, floating the dollar and modernising the Australian econmy, NDIS etc etc
The other party, gun laws (which was outstanding) and the GST, is about it.
I will not name who I vote for, but I vote for reform and the good of the country, not for the few that put self interest before the country.
