I would only release Masters if it means I’m able to get either Jesse Ramien or Curtis Scott, if not keep him for another season and give him a shot to prove us wrong

we could jag one of those and get marsters to bulk up and move to second row...we have form in that department

His work ethic at centre isn’t good enough, he’s got bugger all chance of having the motor to play in the back row.

he can hide out wide but not in the middle. It would sort him out one way or the other

He’s off contract at the end of 2020
If he wants an upgrade he’ll have to lift his game ..
I voted to keep

might be our tony williams???

Definitely a keep. Just remember he has not had a break for 2 seasons, he went with the NZ side to England then comes back a plays with the Tigers again, and has a sub standard season. I remember a lot of good players were effected the same after Kangaroo tours.

I voted to let him go, he has bludged all year, he runs sideways and never straight and hard, not a first grade centre, but maybe useful in a trade for us

It basically comes down to how much cap space you are going to free up if you release him. No use releasing him if you can’t afford something better. If it frees up enough cash to have a crack at someone like Lomax I say it’s a no brainer

In many games I watched they didnt run plays to him, Brooks kept going left pretty much every single time. Maybe i'm wrong. I'd keep him. I still think he is much more dangerous than Mbye in centers.

As a ball player you usually end up passing to the blokes that are hitting holes. If Esan was doing it I’m sure Brooks would find him.

Amazing how many supporters have no
Issue with never making a final series .

Refer to my post, it's not as simple as saying "no."

Letting him go is contingent upon someone offering to take him on for full fare for a start. Would you let him go only to have to pay half his wage. What sort of class centre will you pick up for $225K a year?

well, this is just about one person not the whole team - it's not as if he is the only one at fault for not making the final series - give him another year... one more chance I guess

Extremely talented player. Releasing him would be a brain-dead move. It'd be Josh Addo-Carr all over again. He would kill it at another club if allowed to leave.

I bet if you scroll back to 2016, you could find people pointing out JAC's flaws such as "he's too small", "gets man-handled", "weakness under the high ball", "can't tackle", "one-dimensional", etc. If a guy has weaknesses, it's your job as the coaching staff to work on them.

Come on ... he's already an international, not some new kid.
He was the biggest disappointment of the season by a long way.

JAC was very different. He was a definite game breaker for us. He had things to work on but contributed a lot.

You can't coach someone not to be lazy. You can try and fire them up and train them hard but if some is just lazy then. He can't beat his man, he's slow, he's not big enough to play forwards nor does he have the workrate.

Madge will need to know whether he can get him to pull the finger out or if he's a lost cause.

I voted keep him but he was really poor this season. He is a below average to average NRL centre but hopefully he can turn into a decent NRL centre.

I definitely wouldn't release him. It's more about if we offer him a decent contract next time.

@Earl He is not below average. The hate for this guy has been unreal... Well and truly an agenda against him. On his day, this guy is a great centre. Yes he hasn't enjoyed a great season, we get it.

@TigersBusDriver agreed. Irony is he is our joint leading try scorer despite not having the year he did in 2018. I cant get over all the people on here banging on about Curtis Scott or Ramien saying they are young despite both having dud seasons. Esan is also young, an international centre was great last year.
