Poor judges

I'm arguably the best judge I know

Just ask me

I know just what you mean Happy,
I can't remember any judgement that I've made that I don't wholeheartedly agree with.

And if I do I give myself a good slapping to teach myself a good lesson

Maybe I am a bad judge but I have a good memory and I do remember all the game's when Curtis Sironen was MOM.

It's easy its…......... ZERO.

A 21 year old kid with a sprinkling of first grade games hasn't won a MOM yet.

So?

I wouldn't call almost 40 NRL games a sprinkle.
Has he ever even picked up a single Dally M point ..anything ..something ?

His done nothing to deserve being selected in an emerging blues squad. His in the Moltzen, Galloway, Lawrence and Rowe group and their is nothing emerging out of there.

The only tagging that would be justified is because of the comment's incredible stupidity. That eclectic group Irivine has nominated has zero in common. At the very least, given the rep honours that Lawrence and Galloway have achieved it makes no sense. How Rowe is connected to the other three is anyone's guess.

A 21 year old kid who has been playing since he was 19 and under developed in world's toughest competition. I think some are asking a little too much but then again, it's easy to ask too much when you're watching from the comforts of your couch at home.

Let me ask you this, which player do we have or did we have at the club that could take him under their wing and show him how to play a good back rowers game? Adam Blair? The guy that most were happy was gone?

Give the kid a break!

Cant wait till he plays test footy and you all jump on the Sirro bandwagon.

I really believe it will be a defining year for young Sironen. But the most important aspect of his game will be his consistency. Although that could be said for a number of players in our squad.

Well the three people who do come to mind with second row experience are Liam Fulton ,Simon Dwyer and until this season one P Sironen

If he took each of Liam's ,Simon's and Paul's greatest assets from them he'd be one hell of a back rower

Yes. In 2014 he got 4 points - http://m.dailytelegraph.com.au/sport/nrl/dally-m-awards-2014-honour-roll-how-your-teams-stars-rated/story-fni3fbgz-1227074491412.

So now we are relying on douches like Rottfield and co - who award Dally M points (for what theyre worth) …to determine if a player is good enough to be compared to those judging them on here......

It's been tough for Curtis imo because he has had to deal with his father's reputation, injury, playing in a couple of positions as a youngster breaking into a very tough and demanding competition, once he has time under his belt he will take off.

I don't think my expectations are too high, i'm not asking to see superstar qualities, rather just something that's going to get me excited about him. So far i haven't seen anything at all that's made him stand out to me. I don't know what all the fuss is about.

on the contrary i've loved his work since he has come on the scene with a world of weight on his shoulders

I guess that's the wonderful thing about opinions isn't it. I am a little miffed at the ''you must be a poor judge'' for not rating a player, when for yrs that hasn't stopped people complaining about who and who doesn't make rep sides. I'm sure when the Blues side is announced next yr, some people might have a problem with it, who knows maybe even those calling everyone else bad judges :astonished:

I wasn't aware that our opinions all had to conform.

in my opinion - some forumers dont know what their talking about - afterall there are no experts on here. Take it with a grain of salt. Dont let anyone ruffle your feathers. Afterall this is not Mensa. Just a FAN forum

We do have to remember he has played what half his games either from the bench or in the halves….hopefully he could by seasons end be a 80 minute player. Also our impact forwards do exactly that! :sign:

I'm going to wait till the end of next season to reserve my judgement. To me he shows no consistency,he hasn't been consistently bad nor has he been condistently good. A lot of injuries and big expectations because of his surname !

To me he is a big unit with potential , could go either way?
