Positives.Benji's goal kicking

If nothing else Benji's goal kicking looked pretty good. Fafita in places looked good. After that….?

Would have been interesting if that last try from the bomb was allowed and Benji had a shot from out wide to make it 29-24, a miss leaving a 7 point break.
Another positive - of the 18 200 crowd I thought more than 50% were Tigers fans. Shame the efforts we gave to get to an away game were thrown back at us by that first half effort.

Our 2nd half was pretty good

Probably a bit of Souths taking their foot off it, and our forwards playing with more conviction

Whatever we can do to get Woods on the field for 80 minutes, I'm all for it. Consistently excellent spells from him all season.

Galloway's bump of Talanoa was good to watch as well, and he and Heighno had good 2nd halves. Our lack of go forward was noticeable when they went to the bench.

Positives- We fought back and scored a few tries, also forced 4 line drop outs , missed less tackles then Souths, Benjis goal kicking, Farah and McKinnon

Negitives - Dwyer, Heighno and Benji were poor in the middle in defence and this cost us the game - although the 4-1 penalty count to Souths didnt help but our backrow was probably the real dissapointment of the night especially given all 3 played city country

i liked fifitas kicking game

got us a repeat set

x2just a pity he wasnt there to stop sandows short drop out

yeah fifita should have gotten to that ball but i still think he is a good player. he has a good fend.

benji's goal kicking percentage is around 72% now. i think his percentage was only in the 60's the last 2 seasons.
