Possible 2014 Signings

I think we should sign a half back for the next season or 2.

Luke Walsh (pretty sure he has a get out clause from his ESL contract) or Michael Dobson.
I have concerns about Brooks being our 1st choice halfback next season.

I'd love Walsh but I doubt he'd leave ESL without big money

And when Anasta gets injured for half the season like this one? Moses isn't ready, and sirro isn't a half. He's a second rower and I don't want him filling in like he is this season. Two rookies in the halves wouldn't be optimal. Combined age of less than 40….

Johnson has some decent experience, would not be upset if we bought him.

Anasta has been out for half the year because he is not a forward. He is a half. His body isnt up for the forwards. It is still up for the halves.

We are a bit light on in the halves next year I agree. A possible one-year signing wouldn't go astray

His kicking game has been fantastic as of late - always on the mark. I always thought he was a good halfback but hey, if you have a reason the think he's bad let me know.

Good kicking games come off the back of good yards made by the pigs.You need good forwads and a well organized plan, at present we have neither
 
We just need to be patient , if we can't find the right players for 2014 we wait until 2015 to get the right personnel

No use buying someone who is a square wooden wheel in regards to our roster and how he will be useful

Has Tomkins signed for the Warriors next season? I didn't know that, I reckon he will struggle in the NRL. Locke is a much better player than Tomkins IMO. Would love to get him on our books.

Reports in NZ are it's a done deal with Tomkins. Much prefer Locke though, when he's on form he's an incredible talent - Tomkins unproven outside of UK.

Johnson wouldn't come here as Elliot's building his programme around him!

id suggest they put the money to secure the great kids we have in the club. Lovett, santi, Moses, Brooks et el
 
I reckon we need some form of backup in the halves to take the pressure of Brooks and to let Moses develop and in case of injury. I don't know how long Aiden Siezer is signed for but i hear there is plenty of trouble brewing at the Titans and we could probably write him a decent 2-year contract….( see if Potter can sell hm a good story with the youth coming through). He is a goal kicker as well, just in case we don't want to play Richards next year.

I think we will need a but if experience in the forwards.
He's a good player and would come rather cheap.

I wouldn't the no name players flop outside of the storm system even the so called marquee ones don't always work out as we know

Bryan Norrie ? don't think he could add anything to our team , but I know what your saying .
Craig Bellamy has a way of turning average 1st graders to something really good , wouldn't happen at the Tigers .
We are lacking a really good spine 1,6,7,9, not like Melbourne that have so much experience and a know how.
