Possible Liverpool Stadium

Can I just say that living in Bleak City, they have 2 grounds here, MCG and Marvel, to play all the city games( except for Geelong which is 75ks away)
Interesting, and it works.Maybe all this talk about grounds is really not necessary.
We have 3 proper stadiums!in Sydney- Accor, Allianz and Commbank ? Mmmmm…..
YES, 100%

Please state government stop building huge stadiums. I am so over it.
Fewer and better stadiums.

Liverpool just up the road from Cambo really and if it means our own ground finally then count me in
As a former Cambelltownian, Yep Liverpool is very travellable.

Leichaert is way to far away.

Plus Liverpool has the station and good bus service and room for expansion and high density.

Our club hasn't built there. But I think we could connect with the community.

Campbelltown, have car and will travel. Just don't make the poor guys do the M5/M7!

Maybe, we have to pick and stick, big call I know but next season will be a test case for relative comparison of our 2 ground system.
Which ground would we logically vote for, moving forward, if we had to choose just one ?
LO, CS or Liverpool.Mmmm….

Ps, and I mean vote for by actually attending games ?

Anyone else think this stadium announcement is simply an attempt at deflection by an 'under the microscope' board chair?
Yes. Clearly Lee made a few mates at DT by shouting them a pasta and a vino. What a farcical club having little petty disagreements play out in the papers lol

don’t like the liverpool option one bit
We will forever be in the shadows of the dogs if we end up being there.
We need to pick a mutual place that’s not cambo or Leichhardt and set up shop.
I have no idea why we havnt spent the past couple of years preparing a proposal for Bradfield (the “new” city being built next to the new airport ).
They expect over 100k to be living at Bradfield within the next 10 -15 years
And it’s a stone throw from Campbelltown and Liverpool
With upgraded roads and train lines going straight to it
With the federal and state government working on on the airport, it would be a pretty easy sell to get approval for a 30k stadium to be built
(A new city requires a stadium regardless)

If Wests leagues had any brains they could also propose a new club next to/across the road from the stadium
Brand it Wests Tigers leagues club
Stick a hotel with the club as it’s next to the airport and hotels will be required and lots of them)
and all of a sudden we become the new penrith in a new city and probably financially viable for the next 100 years

You want them to plan something past next weds buffet? Not likely.
Great idea though.

Looks like Riccio got a free haircut at the Centre of Excrement as well.

The Liverpool mayor has bought in… thought he would have better things to do with his time …

Like I keep saying …Canterbury own the land … are they going to sell it to help out a rival steal their junior district?

I thought Riccio was better than the rest or those arseholes at the DT.They never mention other clubs loosing juniors.Conti is only 17 how could he be up for fg at the bulldogs next year

If they properly promoted Campbelltown they would get better results with crowds but for some reason we lag so far behind Souths, in this area it is a joke. Lived in Campbelltown for 30 + years only twice have i ever seen our club promote in the local paper on the local radio and did a massive school blitz.
So true.
