Royce actually said "We thought we were in control" and "they hadn't looked like scoring".

News flash…

When you are only leading 8-6 you are NEVER in control.

Jesus, it's enough to make me bang my head against a wall.

But when Royce worked it out on Rugby League for Atari 7800 it was all good

Did any of the media question Royce why in hot conditions there were two outside backs on the bench & the reasoning in dropping Moors instead of Brown??

wouldn't you be in control with a lead of 8 points or more. :unamused:
not two. :imp:
they did not look like scoring until Anasta put up that big kick ( which he does well)

PMSL Smeg

Seriously two points was in no way under control. I must admit I was thinking maybe we were going to get away with it on the two points we took for the penalty but only because they were as woeful as we were.

Some serious shakeups need to happen at Camp Concord this week or all we will see is more of the same.

Look to be fair the commentators on fox said exactly the same thing and I know everyone I was watching with not tigers supporters thought so too so I can blame the bloke for saying that because thats what we thought too

Plus if Beau Ryan catches that ball none of these threads criticising everyone are here so while it was very dissapointing cant complain too much

actually I think the complaints would still be here, we were woeful and directionless

We have often been directionless at periods in our games, since Prince left the club. Wests Tigers do not have a player capable of directing the play like Prince could and still does for the Titans.
Football teams, who succeed regularly over a season, have such players. Wests Tigers need a leader, who can read a game and change the team's tactics, when needed.

I don't understand why everyone makes Prince out to be the Rugby League Saviour.

We had him for three years, yet it was the 7 game winning streak towards to end of the comp in 05 that got us to the playoffs. For the rest of the 2 2/3 seasons we were mediocre - with Prince.

Our club has an attitude problem and I think Folkes referred to it as soon as he arrived. We don't have the hunger and drive that clubs like the dogs and Melbourne have. No one wanted to come to our club so we had to develop our own juniors. Now that we have them coming through lets see whether we can shift the attitude of the club and then we might just be successful.

I have to say i was a little dissapointed with Roycie's comments. It may well have been true but the bigger picture was we were poor, our worst performance of the season imo. Thats what i as coach would be harping on about. We didn't deserve to win it. The roosters for all their defence deserved the win.
