We need to be cautious sure , but the chances this will be Ebola are very minimal and seems like they have it under control

I may not have faith in our politicians , but I do have faith in our medical system and our Docs and nurses in the system

I don't have faith in our Immigration Department and the right Protocols with People flying in from Africa.

I do have faith in our System but to me it's worrying that potentially it has reached our shores .They should be Quarantined for at least a month before they leave Africa and that has not been happening and also cleared of the Ebola .
Our E.D Department have measures in place when Patients come through Triage , but it should of never got to this point , all it takes is that Women from Africa to hop on a Bus and Potentially spreading it on the Bus .
I have faith in our Health System but still can't help being concerned

Sorry FT , didn't realize you had posted already

Got any sick leave mate ??

Yeah i do , I can take 1 year leave without pay and still hold on to my position , I've thought of that as worst case scenario but it won't get to that extreme .

This is the biggest outbreak of the Ebola virus since it was first identified in 1976\. It's natural to be worried, as Ebola is a scary disease. That's why the USA has mobilised so many resources to try and fight it. Other countries are following suit. It's important not to panic and to remember that while it is a very powerful virus it's also hard to catch. Also let's all spare a thought and save some worry for all the health workers ( doctors, nurses, volunteers) all of the caregivers out there trying to help.

Really? I'm quite sure our border security, immigration and customs is one of the best if not the best in the world. Sure the location helps but the system in place is probably the best.

When you say our Border Security , immigration and customs is one of the best if not the best in the World? On what grounds? a perception you have ? well surely if proven that this Patient in Brisbane has contacted the Ebola virus ? we can't be the best as we have allowed the Virus to get in our shores , Correct ?
When i say faith? it does not mean i don't think they are doing everything in there power to stop such things from occurring but if not properly Quarantined we have a massive battle on our hands.

FT,great news on suspected Ebola in Brisbane….

Test came back NEGATIVE ...

Still take care FT and be vigilant......

(Just crossed my mind)
"Deftly did not support Pauline Hanson. I keep thinking about what her was fighting for . When she was on her peak she was going on about terrorism ,International investors buying land and diseases coming from Africa.2014 and she not far off the mark.
Anyway just a thought definitely I still do not support Pauline Hanson.
