Potter

I like the game plan we are starting to see. Difference was today we tackled well, and for 80 minutes. We are still passing the ball and sweeping the ball however there is a more direct threat. The big 4 man bench saw us dominate in the forwards. This is now Potter's team and I will be delighted if they continue to play in this fashion. However the Titans were totally disgusting today, so lets wait and see how the next 2 games go against big packs.

yep, they played the whole game today like they did the first 15 minutes against the dragons and it paid dividends.
if they get within 20 of the bunnies with the heart and effort of today i will be happy…i just want to see them play how they did today.

i have to say that potter probably deserves accolades for the teams dramatic turnaround. everyone did their job and surprise, it worked!

Congrats Mick….i like the way he goes about it....and you can see the team starting to mirror the way he played. He was a player who consistently performed at the best of his ability week in week out.

Yep, I'll cop a loss vs Souths, but no more blowouts. Put in a solid 80 and move on to Warriors away in Rd4

I have been critical of Potter for ages, even calling for his head multiple times. But if he can get the guys motivated and playing like they did yesterday consistently, I'll be happy to admit I'm an idiot and was wrong.

It was good to see yesterday. Fantastic go forward from the big guys up front and creative, exciting back line movements. When we're really firing it's a pleasure to watch.

Reminded me a little bit of 2010.

It will be huge test on Friday night. We don't need to win, but if we're competitive and put up a hell of a fight it will be a victory in itself.

The commitment and attitude yesterday was outstanding.

Potter was quietly confident in off season and he looks like his got the whole teams wanting to play for him and the club.

We've got a chance against Souths especially with Fulton and Simona but its a short turnaround.

It was refreshing to see this style of play for 80 minutes.
I can't recall the last time we had such quick line speed in defence.

After his comments post-match last week, where he mentioned the team lost their game plan after 20, it was satisfying to witness the team execute for the full match

The team is full of rookies.
Potsys a rookie NRL coach

Theyre all learning, there will be ups and downs but consistency is not impossible

Agree Mona - what they worked on has paid dividends,it was evident to all- they reaped the reaward…how satisfying would that be for all concerned....on top of the 20s big win - concord will be humming this week

Good to see the team not take the foot off the throttle when we were 20 points up. In seasons past a 20 point lead at half time would usually finish up with a 6 point win. We kept the pressure on til the 80th minute.

Certainly wasn't happy joe happy in the post match conference which I saw on fox sports.

it was like he'd lost his wallet or something .

but I suppose he was laughing on the inside.Just like we were.

He would have felt more relief than ecstatic as compared to a fan.

In any case I want to see that attitude every week until the GF. Strive for perfection.

Little doubt that it was the structure that Potter has been trying to establish. Sauce providing the extra ingredient with his no nonsense approach.

I hope they are not doing too much more around Concord this week than "humming" to a few tunes and some defensive drills, with the short turnaround leaving us really vulnerable. Terrible planning by the NRL, **even if it was no hotter than average at 2pm up there yesterday.**

in a much full of highlights, the one thing that really made me happy was how they all celebrated taupau's try.

it feels like an age since i have seen the guys so happy and unified!

as mentioned above (eyewonder) they are a young team and (as in 2005) there will be ups and downs. the trick is maintaining the rage even in games they arent going to win. im not saying this is 05 over again by any means, but as i said in a pre season post, my main hope for this season is to see the development of the young guys. sunday was a good start!

Agreed, was awesome to see the boys so rapt after Taupau dotted down!
