Pre season challenge Trials discussion- all teams

Bulldogs observations
- liam knight shocking and underdone
- Burton looked ordinary just going through motions, sexton came on / burton off and they looked sharper on the left side.
- taaffe good field positioning and looked sharp but don’t think he has another gear
- hutchison, salmon and taaffe when moving left to right looked good - different option for bulldogs to last season
- kautoga looked really good defensively, put on some good hits & good work rate
- faamausilli best forward on the park
- skelton was good running it from the back
- xerri looked underdone which is to be expected
- the flegg brigade who got a run showed something so maybe good signs in a few years for the bulldogs if they convert

Storm observations
- Paps still has his speed and lasted the game
- Pezet has a good boot on him
- other storm nrl players looked ordinary
Not much more to comment on the Storm


Overall the game was boring one, Bulldogs with all the field position and possession to win by 12 is a win but should’ve won by alot more

You could tell he had missed gametime.

First half he struggled to make impact

2nd half last 15mins or so against lower graders & with some space he looked better

He will be better for the run. Playing between Kikau and JAC will open up chances for him.
 
Sky sports in the UK has it all the preseason games televised. I thought it was a replay but was the game Ink talking about.
 
Franklin Pele sent off for his third head shot. The bloke's an imbecile.
Okunbor is absolute rubbish. 2 head shots and let in a try.
Herman Ese Ese sin binned for you guessed it, a head shot.
The Australians have been Hull FC's worst players.
 
I remember the chatter on here about how we should sign Pele.
He can't keep up with the pace of the game so he gets frustrated.
I haven't seen a swinging arm like the one he threw since 1978
