Predict the 2016 WT Season

I'm aiming big. WT to win the Grand Final.
Robbie to get the Clive Churchill Medal.
JT to win Coach of the Year.

I can see it happening as well. Brooks, Moses and Sironen to kick on. Robbie to get back to top form. Tedesco will be on fire. One of the outside backs will replace Richards and give us a gun backline. Nofo will learn to catch the ball and defend.

It'll be a better backline than Canberra or the Broncos in their prime with a pack of forwards who can roll us forward and defend like demons.

Go Tigers !

Yeah baby…. Can't wait!

We will need another good year with injuries to drag ourself off the bottom. I just have grave doubts our forward pack will have enough grunt in both attack and defence, but if the reduced interchange brings our pack into line with most other clubs we could really surprise as our backline could really do some damage

My honest prediction

Taylors contract will be extended another year by round 13 with the Tigers sitting in the middle of the top 8 and showing nothing but positive signs moving forward. This will happen around the same time Robbie secures a deal elsewhere, either within the NRL or Super League.

Taylor will take a similar approach to last year but slightly less regimented, allowing freedom to Moses and Brooks.

Sue and Woods is downright the perfect front row combination. Woods the massive body with great go forward and workrate. Sue the Ruben Wiki type hard nut who does everything in a scary way for the opposition. Will be the best front row in the NRL.

Lawrence on the left edge won't just be a rock, he will be origin like. Siro will continue to improve getting close to realising his potential. He will be dangerous on the right edge but will surprise a few with how well he goes when he gets switched to lock mid game. People will be saying he's a combination of Boyd Corner and Aiden Guerra, but better.

Edwards the guy that opposition just hate.

I'm telling u our pack can be anything. Every player will hate playing against Sue, Lawrence and Edwards, while Siro and Woods provide the balance with their obvious class and size.

The class youngsters will just roll off the back of the work done by our pack.

I hope this is our "2016 year in review". I'd just like to add that Teddy, Simona & Nofo will rip teams apart at will.

Moses currently paying $34 for top point scorer in 2016 .

Richards came 3rd in 2015 with 197 pts when we came equal last .

Croker (236 pts in 2015) is favourite at $4 but Sezer might take over the goal kicking at the Raiders .

Maloney (2nd in 2015) wont score as many points at the Sharks.

Moses is surely overs in the betting if we have even a moderately better year .

Moses will be up there, however I can't see him scoring as many tries as Patty did last year. Patty did have a habit of being in the right place at the right time.

I believe with a bit of luck a bottom part of the 8 is possible.(5-8)

We have put Farah on notice and I expect him to play with a fire in his belly to prove Taylor wrong. We also have Cherrington and Ballin if he doesn't. I think we have better depth and with Edwards, Griffen and Big bad billy I think we have some protection for the halves.

Brooks and Moses will be better for the

If Taylor allows them to play football we will go along way to winning more than we lose.
Having Nofoaluma available in round 1 and a healthy Simona will do our attack wonders as well as have the No 1 fullback in the game to chime in when needs be.

Woods and Sue will do well as both can play longer minutes and Sue reminds me of a young Sam Moa but I think better. If we get Grant the front row rotation looks strong. Sirro needs to run wide and use his offload to put some pace away which we have this year in Addo-Carr. Lawrence impressed me last year and an offseason training in this position can only help.

I think Parahi will get a go at lock into the season as he develops.

I can't wait until it starts

Surprise a few early and confidence will rise

Moses would need to score 15+ tries to be a chance at leading point scorer I'd say

Still worth a look at 34's though

My brain tells me anything above a bottom four finish would be a result. Obviously we can do better and I hope we do. My prediction is 11th.

My eternal optimism hopes we can have a number of surprise packets that over perform and we somehow nab 8th.

I can't remember the last time the club didn't have a long and tragic run of no wins for around 2 months. Seems like we've lost 5 on the trot most years recently - often more than that and sometimes two winless runs in the year.

That would obviously need to change. I'm hoping better depth helps with consistency this year. We'll have to wait and see…

Tedesco, Sirro, Moses, Brooks are all getting towards that 50 game mark where you would think they could start to really establish themselves. Teddy obviously is already superstar however maybe 1 of the other 3 could rise to that level in 2016.

I have been pretty negative (but mainly right) about our prospects the past few years. This year everyone will expect us to get the spoon but we really should not get that. We do have some talent in the club.

We just go to pieces every year once the grind and origin kicks in. We might come out of the blocks again and look like a Top 8 side, that would not surprise me at all. But how are we going to go on a cold night at Brookvale, or with a few out injured in the middle of June.

There is enough there to have hope but enough reason to be pessimistic.

I'm not expecting much but am, of course, hopeful of a top 8 finish. But to do that who would miss out from last year's 8? I guess any team that suffers injuries to key players might struggle but it's very unlikely that more than 3 of last year's finalists will not make it again this season. So that would leave 3 spots, perhaps 4, up for grabs for last year's bottom 8 clubs. Out of last year's bottom 8 the Titans and Knights look unlikely to make it although both might surprise at different times during the season. So if 3 spots will be up for grabs then the Warriors, Manly, Panthers, Eels, Raiders and maybe the Tigers will be the teams most likely to fill them. But if we do manage to get there it'll be one of the best efforts by all at the club since 2005 in my opinion, and might just be the catalyst for a resurgent Wests Tigers. One can only hope.

Heads down …standing behind the posts ... Hands on hips ... Waiting for another conversion.

Bottom 4 .
