No where near good enough.. im sorry 3 out of 7 games WFT… just look at the Dragons/Stormn/Broncos and then compare us.. dispite the injuries we had a strong side on the park and yet we got smashed ... be lucky to make top 8 i reckon!

Quality sides dont dish out performances like that 2 weeks in a row!!
 
Lots of improvment this week with a few guns back….

Im really upset at our current predicament but theres still a few weeks grace left IMO.
 
Excuse!!!.. 20k fans turn up and players didnt up!!!.. im sorry but that was disgusting!!
 
If we win next week, and that's a big if, we will be running at 50%. With all our injuries that is an OK place to be at this time of the season.
 
My issue is look at the teams we have beaten this year Probably no top 8 sides there we probably have 3 weeks to turn it around or we can kiss top 6 good bye and I don't think we can win from 7th or 8th . And even if we finish by scraping into 8 it would not be classed as a success

Regardless it was 17 on 17 .. 2 points were on offer. 2 points that we needed and we played like we just didnt care… myabe im overreacting but come rnd 26 and you dont enough points it means no semi's which means no GF..
 
Ive always said the season is won in the second half of the year, hopefully we can have a late season surge once all players are back on deck, problem is we are already imo starting to loose touch with Dragons/Storm/Broncos, the broncs are now 6 points clear of us!!

Having Mc Kinnon, Lawrence, Tuquiri out of your backline is going to hurt your fluency in attack. Whole off-season would have been these players in structures & combinations. Lui & Ryan 1st game back for a while also & Daniella (back up) also out.

Now prob Ayshford also. BOY!
 
Its Gus's fault he picked us and the raiders to play in the GF for some reason the idiots things Benji is the best player in the NRL and that we are the best attacking team in the comp.

Have a look at a calendar, what month it is champ.
 
C'mon guys…at stages last year we were looking like getting (and deserving), the spoon.

We went on to be stiffed in the major semi.

I agree that so far we are below par. We do need to jag a few wins until we have a full squad back on deck.

We should get the Raiders next week giving us a 4 from 8 start. With all of the injuries we've had thats not too bad.

As long as we dont lose too many more games like we did last week we'll be thereabouts again.
 
I'll reserve judgement after our next two games. Fults has been out for the best part of the season. We haven't had a stable halves combo, forwards aren't all on deck at the same time, we are missing our left side at the back and our coach has weakened the right side by moving them to the left.

It will all fall into place, just need a couple of games for it to gel.

We arent a premiership winning team thats for sure. Thats not to say by some fluke we wont do very well this year as its that sort of comp that anything can happen.

We have ALOT wrong with our side but the biggest thing which is the difference between us and any other team in the TOP 8 is we have NO kicking game, Im not gonna do my head in thinking about it but have we scored 1 try this year off a kick? And if someone did a statistic id be very suprised if we were not last in tries scored off kicks and repeat sets gained off kicks in 2010, as well as so far in 2011.

When your attack has nothing to offer, and in so many instances it doesnt for nrl sides, you turn to your kicking game and for most sides it works. You give to your play maker and he bombs away and those bombs land on the goal line and players compete for a 50/50 ball. Look at some of the pivital moments of season 2010 for us, vs st george for example with 15 minutes to go when we were on there line Farah puts in a very average kick and we turn the ball over and never get another chance. A good team puts that in , and without doing anything wrong the defensive team can conceed a try.

Farah, Marshall and Lui all have ok kicking games in various ways, but none of them consistantly have good kickings game and can have the ball on a string so to speak
 
Two weeks until bye . Lets put it this way If you had to earn the two points from the bye we would be a work in progress and no guarantees of getting them
