I bet Madge is praying Benji makes the decision himself. Last thing he would want is to have to get rid of a club legend who wants to stay I’m sure.

considering what happened to Potter dropping marshall for 20 minutes of footy....madge would be sweating!!!

Not to mention him not wanting to pay Farah so much, nor sign for so long and the corresponding backlash, which continued for the next coach's tenure.

Surely the clubs not stupid enough to play this situation out in the media.
I'd say he's pressured the club for info by stating he'll be writing the article with or without their help and that they might as well feed him something accurate.

I agree. Will be interesting though if this is the clubs way of tapping him on the shoulder. If it’s done via the media then things could get ugly. Club legend and all but his time is up, let’s hope he realises it soon.

If this is for Benji, I just want to enjoy watching him the next month. I think we all should. Season is gone, results don’t matter anymore, so we should savour his last few games wearing the jersey.
