QLD team 2018

Felise Kaufusi on an edge might be in for a big one against some suspect defensive halves and centres.

Under the radar!

This came from left field , but I've heard Munster could be at fullback , and Milford @ 6

Because of the last minute change , they want to keep the old Bronco's combination together and keep some fluency in the back line

Not a fan personally , Qld are going to have to defend their way to victory and make sure they grab whatever limited opportunities than can create

Milford in my opinion isn't a SOO quality player , but offers something off the bench with his running game

I see some initial teething issues for Tedesco , Maloney , Cleary and Cook

Its a great combination don't get me wrong , but Cook isn't the best player in front of Maloney and Cleary until they can read each other's games and have played together

I'm far more fearful Games 2 and 3 though

I think people are so caught up in the NSW rookies that they havent had a good look at that pack.

Its an outstanding young pack, guys like Hess, Arrow and Wallace are born origin players.

Theyll more than hold their own.

The QLD backs can defend the NSW rookies so it might just come down to the halves i think.

All hangs on Nathan Cleary or Munster for mine.

Napa, Hess and Papallii are all borderline reserve-graders. McGuire hasn't played in 2 months. If the Blues can't get over the top of that pack they should be publicly stoned.

Thank you.

It's that exact attitude that has seen QLD do what they do when it comes to Origin.

Those boys are quality.

Gagai injured at training and unlikely to play

Spewing about that because it means Corey Oates will come into the team who should have been picked in the first place.

Nope saying that they’ll shift half the side out one place.
Croft - fullback
Milford - 5/8
Morgan - centre
Chambers - wing
Ponga - bench

Should just bring a winger in

Chambers to the wing? That's crazy he's one of the best centres in the game.

Dane Gagai has today suffered a compound dislocation of his finger at training. Unlikely to play Origin 1 in just over 24 hours time, but it is possible. If dislocation was clean (minimal ligament/tendon damage) risk of infection main roadblock, pain tolerance an issue as well.

Kevie said Gagai went out and trained after the incident …..

Morgan at fullback , seems I might have to slap my info man around a bit

Ah! Queensland mind games again - don't cha just luv it!!!!!

Freddie's in meltdown

Needs a new marker pen and the only one left is permanent ink (not you ink , ink ink )

We'll see Hap, We'll see.

Yeah , I'm not sure about the 1-7 at this stage , Gagai will be a big loss , but not as big as Billy

We will lose a lot of intelligent talk from the back defensively

If the comments I've heard regarding Boyd are true ….........cross him off the list :imp:

It'll be an interesting game for once, with so many unknowns. QLD without the big 4, NSW with so many untried players.

Hopefully the Refs will stay out of it and let the players decide the game.
