Gutsy win by the Storm with so many out

They had the man in the green n black stripes playing for them that's all you need. Nice forward pass let go for their try in the 1st half. Diabolical.
WHEN SOUTHS, BRONCOS AND STORM ARE GOING WELL THE GAME IS GOING WELL. That will be the NRL catchcry from here-on in…..what a sham, the WWE has more integrity and honesty than NRL these days. Will be certain that the #£#tty disease that is the NRL won't be seeing a cent of my money anymore. Corrupt as you can get.

I watched the game and thought it was fairly refereed. Manly shot themselves in the foot by trying to protect a 1 point lead with 15 to go.

You reckon the forward pass let go for Vunivalu's try was OK?? It was a metre forward with the 10 metre line right there to emphasize it and the touch judge standing right next to the play…yet it was STILL let go. Results are contrived these days it is unacceptable to miss blatant stuff like that. The touchies are an absolute waste of space, they are hopeless.

Forward pass was a bad call agreed. That didn’t decide the game and the rest of the game was balanced refereeing. You can’t say a ref helped a team win based on one call.

I only saw the first half & if anything I was thinking manly were getting the rub… Forward pass was a shocker and I can't be upset Manly lose lol

Yes you can - depends how important that call is.

E.g. Tigers v Broncos

^Spot on Russ.
So sick of constant, blatent howlers from refs nearly every single game.
It is so bad now that most people just accept this level of absolute incompetence or bias. The whole NRL has a humungous stench about it the last 4 or 5 years and it is definitely getting worse.

Hard to disagree with this. I said over a month ago that the top 8 is guaranteed this year, courtesy of the ref's calls throughout this season. The NRL will get the teams they want in the finals, the rest can go to hell. It's been so bloody obvious, it's just not funny, but nothing will be done to change it. Like you said, people are just accepting the bias and incompetence each week as a given.

Terrible call that cost us a game but it was an error not cheating.

How do you know its not cheating though? To just pull a penalty outta their arse, from a pretty much unmissable spot in front of the posts, when the same (and worse) infringement is committed in nearly every single play the ball in every single match this season. To me that is closer to cheating more so than an error.
I can't recall the Broncos losing a single match in forever from an "error" by a ref. Coincidence?

If they wanted to cheat for the Broncos to win they would have done something prior to the 85th minute. You could find a penalty in any set if you wanted to.

So the Broncos have Opacic, Shibasaki, Pearson from their top 30 playing Qld cup this week, but are allowed to play Staggs who is not part of their top 30?

Needs to be an investigation

Doesn't sound fair?
