Racing tips, talk etc

I like The jackal again 2morro in Brisbane. It carried 60.5kg last start and settled near the tail of the field cought 3 wide and only got beat a bit over a length. Drops 1kg in weight and has drawn well.

Will be cheering on Produced in Race 6 at Flemmington tomorrow. In race 7 at Flemmington Number 4 Juggle the books will be my other investment.

Good luck to those having a bet!

Magic Millions tomorrow. I like Tallow in the 6th race at the Gold Coast and Ring Ringa Rosie in the 7th. Good luck to those having a bet.

Confessional in the MM Stayers Cup… ran a fast finishing 5th to Stifle in Sydney over 1600m last start and the step up to the 1800 will suit no end... Stifle would be favourite in this race so the 12.00 on offer with some bookies on Fixed odds is a steal...

Hey guys,

I need some help. Am off to the Redcliffe Trots on Friday night (never been to the trots before so I'm looking forward to it). Have been useless on the punt lately so if anyone's got some good tips for me, let me know. I need all the help I can get :- )

Cheers
Danni

Golden Slipper-

Trying to find some value so will probably place the hard earned on Solar Charged.

Vision and Power in the George Ryder.

Good luck to those having an investment on Saturday.

Where's centaur?

He's a expert…..

thank for the tip njlm...I'll wait for Sirro....

Oh...Vision and Power ...it's there...

Vision & Power was probably my favourite horse from last Autumn - could not believe I got it at double figures in the George Ryder and the Doncaster last year. I don't think I can have it this time around, it's prep has not been flash - especially based on it's lead up last year. But I am yet to have a good look at other runners.

Golden Slipper has never been a good race for me, 2YO's are almost impossible to pick. Some of them have only raced a couple of times. The track is going to be a bog as well, which pretty much opens it up for anything. Go for value - Military Rose is a great horse, but is well under the odds. Chance Bye is value at the moment, but will be well shorter at the jump. I personally think I might have a dabble on Georgette Silk, huge odds and can handle the wet.

Geo, I am by no means an expert, but hopefully I can pick more winners than I am in the NRL at the moment!

Time to fire up the racing tips for the Spring as the big races start to get underway. Anyone got anything for this weekend?

I like Sainthood and Dealer Principal in the Epsom on Saturday at big odds.
Zipping in the Turnball Stks at Flemmington looks good odds on Sunday. Shocking will again be tough to beat. Some very good horses going around in this race.

I'll be having a wager on Leica Larrikin in the Epsom- very strong finisher who has been running well. Odds should be handy.

I like Metal Bender in the Turnbull, but if I'm honest, that race is nearly impossible to back with any certainty. Metal Bender ran 3rd in the Underwood the other day- first race left handed, and handled well. Always gives good value and I've got a sneaky $50 put on him at 26-1 for the Melbourne Cup.

Seems to be plenty of money for Black Piranha in the Epsom. I would have thought its best days were behind it but people are saying it has been well prepared for this race.

Metal Bender will be lucky to make the Cup field I am afraid.

You may be right- hence my extra sneaky $50 on him in the Caulfield Cup…
