Raiders sign Tedesco - Official

If I signed on for a new job next year, I'd be put on gardening leave. It happens in the real world so can't see why it can't happen here

No problem with him taken the taken the cash but there has to be ramifications

He played us as fools as far as I'm concerned and that's what pisses me off! Is a shame he's going but it's done and move on!! As far as letting him play in NSW cup for the rest of the year as a few here are suggesting, I think it's not a good idea; let him play FG and who knows…. He might do his knee again!! Karma!! Lol

Good luck to him. Yeah you hate losing one of your own but that's life. Some people are over the top with what should have happened and what we should do. For me it's simple, play him when he's fit, it's simple as that. He would have stayed if they never offered him the bank, so cant you really blame him. Get real people.

The Raiders would be happy if we didn't play him in first grade. If I were a Raider I would want him wrapped up in cotton wool. So we should play him each week. give him crash balls and hospital passes. Like Thompson has been getting in recent weeks. Make him earn the money he is already on.

Even after a night of reflection it seems many people still haven't grown up and gotten over it

I bet others on here don't put their own lives under as much scrutiny as they are with James Tedesco

People in glass houses …..................

Just put it this way , this might be the last season in a long time we actually have a shot at the title so we should be getting as many minutes out of James Tedesco as we can

I hope you are talking about yourself. The trollop you dished up here yesterday was in my opinion disgusting.

My opinion hasn't changed and it won't. The guy has all the character of Ben Teo. I am starting to see the positives now though. After this season I hope to never see this guy in a Tigers jersey again. To me he is a disgrace.

I really don't care about the title. I care about how the club performs and acts and Tedesco is a blight on this club.

I say State cup for the rest of the year in the forwards.

Not necessarily Alf. I have moved jobs (always to a competitor,) three times in 11 years in my field of expertise in commercially sensitive roles and I have never been placed on gardening leave. Why? Because I don't have an unethical attitude. You can still turn up to your current employer and give 100% while they pay your wages.

No Steve I'm talking about all the 3 year olds that threw their toys out of their cots yesterday because a player left the club for a better offer

All these people saying that they would of respected him if he had come out and said I'm leaving because this offer is too good to refuse and garbage like that

He was damned which ever way he worded it

Again if you applied these same rules to your life that you are applying to him you'd be OK with it if people abused you on twitter , social media etc

If we are serious about not wanting to develop Tedesco for Raiders we can make a straight switch with him and Simona. Teddy to centre will harm his development, playing and training centre for the next 20 weeks won't do him any good. The bloke gets up half broken after every tackle anyway, do you all expect to get more than 5 games out of him for the rest of this season?

lol… oh the drama...

seriously, you are saying our only shot at silverware is because Teddy is in the team? Just having Braith in the halves harpoons our chances this season... our real shot rests more squarely on the unproven Moses' shoulders, and the halves combo with Brooks... Teddy would have been a great addition to that spine, if he could stay on the park.

If he was the only game winner we have, we still wouldnt be winning over 45% of games, thats not enough to make the finals, and you have to get there to even have a shot at the prize.

No my point is we need all of them on the park working together as a team to have a serious chance

Even with Tedesco, the Tigers aren't winning anything until hacks like Anasta and Lawrence are permanently removed from the team. Playing 11 on 13 gets very old, very quick.

That's actually not that bad an idea

Ironic if Tedesco gets serious injury in 2nd last game of season R 25 v Canberra at Canberra.
Assuming Tedesco is available & not injured at the time of course :rant

apparently teddy has already splashed out on a new ride with his newly found wealth.
sorry, had to be done.

Teddy has cut us deep.

Its a real shame

It is. I don't recall ever feeling like this. I am most disappointed that I thought he was a different sort of kid; loyal, genuine and appreciative of the system that has nurtured him and supported him. But, he isn't like that at all. He is either a complete moron deceived by the likes of Ayoub and Stuart or just a mercenary.

Despite that, I don't agree with the posts wanting him to be injured or hampered in any way. If he goes on to become a rep player with the Raiders, then WT organisation can rightly take the credit for getting the foundation skills in him to such a high standard.

Stuart is just in the process of assembling such an elite squad that any trained ape could coach them to success and ,thereby, add to his completely unjustified reputation as a "super coach". A super dud, more like it!

Yep in saying that we have seen him for who he is as a person and he probably isn't the type of person we want at the club. He is like a mongrel dog that you feed but will eat you for dinner if he is a little hungry. People like this create a bad culture wherever they are.

Mods. Should we think about closing some of these threads now? Forum is clogged. People need to move on and focus on the next game and rest of the season. Sure, gutted, but let's get back to business!
