Nofa was almost playing three in sometimes. Seemed like they wanted to give him as much ball as possible.

I thought Kepaoa did well last night they targeted him all night with kicks and he only had one error in that regard if I’m remembering correctly. Had some terrible passes thrown at him (which he got blamed for for some reason) but he looked fast when he found some open space.

Kepaoa at least has some speed
......Talau must be the slowest back in the NRL.If u get run down by forwards regularly you shld become one

Talau put a lot of weight/muscle on over the pre season last year. Maybe now that he’s played a decent amount of first grade they try slim him down a little maybe? At the same time close to the line he’s a hard man to stop.

Not sure what his best position is at the moment, but I'm not sure he makes the top 17 next year at this rate, particularly with JAC and possibly Staines on board. He's too slow for centre and he's not carrying fat, so I reckon he continues to bulk up and maybe gets used as an edge second rower, but his defence needs a lot of work.

Reynolds is being given pretty strong messages that he should go to the ESL. Unless he goes somewhere before we start paying next years salary, he can expect to play Reggies if they go around next year.

Precisely. Hopefully commonsense prevails and he takes the payday on offer OS.

I thought after the first 20 minutes we showed really good determination to come back. We could have thrown it away then but we kept trying. Very encouraging. What wasn't encouraging was our starting middle forwards getting owned again and Garner's defence. McIntyre coming on changed the momentum of the game imo. Definite keeper.

Talau is behind BJ, AD and Momo's for a centre spot. AD is the goal kicker we need

Kepaoa may be Doueihi's centre partner.

BJ will play in one position. The rest playing for the other. AD/Momo probably duking it out and also for goal kicking

I don't think they'll be duking it out. Think AD has him pretty easily covered on every aspect of the game, including goal kicking. I think Momo and Talau will be duking it out in reserve grade

Hope so. But who knows. Both have undying irrational support here for some unknown reason.

Re Reynolds
Because we are looking forward to the future

I dont want Reynolds in the team, but Benji at 6 is looking to the future?

I would keep Benji in some capacity within the club. Sure the kick with a couple of minutes to go was a killer, but it was Benji who got us back into the game.

No doubt he can play and he’s still so early in his career. Just gotta figure out what’s best for him
And get him playing one position. He can score a try just needs to lose a little muscle and do some sprint training I reckon.

During normal times yes. No way would I leave the relative safety of Australia now to go to a virus infected country. I’d be happy taking my $800k until things have cleared up a bit.

Kepaoa running at speed looked a weapon. I don't mind those passes being missed. He didn't drop one bomb last night. He is a quick learner and looks a find.

Good chance he would have caught "those passes" had they been directed in remotely catchable areas and gotten another try, though I thought he had an issue with one of the kicks that came his way.

Our wingers rushing in to tackle a player that is not theirs caused 3 of the 4 tries Souths scored. Happens every week!

Because energetic is not the first adjective you want hear when people describe your 5/8th.

I'd still have him in there over Benji, as that energetic player makes a huge difference in backing up and particularly the kick chase pressure and quite a handy short kicking game. Maybe not for last night when we were missing Joey and Lawrence was the target, but he feeds the ball well to his outside and reckon WT were a better side when he paired with Brooks earlier this year.

It’s good to see them showing some fight. Obviously winning games is the goal but with the media drumming up crap about the team hating each other and the coach it’s good to see that the players have responded two weeks in a row. While we aren’t playing amazing (mostly due to having a terrible roster) they’re trying.

Especially when it’s man on man with no overlap 🤬

Agree on all counts. Talau and Momo will be depth only.

He was already handing out flyers last night
By hand and by foot

I was really angry about Benji kicking on the 2nd tackle, when the rest of the team were ready to hammer Souths line and create something late...I dont know why they couldnt have organised Brooks to kick it on the 5/6 like he did the week before and AD scored...

But then I realised that Benji had to have the last say on the game and as I said before many times ..you can get up me for it if you like but ..he stifles Brooks game and has done many times this year....
