Just received an email bulletin which i usually get and it has all the comings and going for clubs for 2011…

says we've signed Ratu Tagive from the dogs...

Is this confirmed by the club and if so whats this guy like??

Is he any relation to Peni??

Heard his name called on radio yesterday 20s semi Dogs v Roosters
 
Yeah looks like he played on the wing for the Dogs, scoring 2 tries…

Guess it gives me a reason to watch the remaining 20's games more closely...

I watched him play last week against the roosters. He was good in attack (scored 2 tries) and caught a few bombs under pressure. I'd be happy if we signed him, Lote could be his mentor.
 
close source of mine says that ratu tagive is a real gun player also brother of peni.. way better than peni, on that side note also been warned that fifita might head off to bulldogs.. :frowning:

Firstly - clarification is required -Andrew or David F????
Secondly - What the Freak?? How could this even be a remote possibility
Thirdly - How the freak can this be done??? There has to be some serious rorting happening..

PS - Im not sure about Tagive Jnr -

All I heard the whole year is Bulldogs are signing this, signing that etc. Please clarify your source because I would hate for D or A Fifita to be released, and if it is to the Bulldogs, I will eat Tim Sheens.
 
mate of mine plays for under 20's dogz and he told me he just got back hanging with andrew fifita and said that bulldogs offered him more money than the tigers currently..!!! and tigers have not come back with a counter offer..i was shocked as well and did not believe it.. but he said he warmed me so.. guess im sharing that warning as well.. i was devo when he told me.. my understanding that david will be going to newcastle?? he also the mate that highly rated ratu tagive and im happy that tigers have made him an offer have seen him play all through arrive alive and under 20's and he looks real gud
 
Well I'm prepared to wait until something more substantial in the way of a source comes along. No offence but the my mate spoke with him kind of thing gets played out all the time. Again no offence but if we're talking Andrew, it sounds like a whole load of cow dung to me…
 
If the Dogs were going to sign either of the Fifita's, then why did they just announce the signing of Millington? I can only assume that the Eastwood rumours aren't true. If they announce the signing of Eastwood then I doubt that our boys are going anywhere!
 
Dogs should be kicked out of the comp.. I'm sick of them signing every player there is ..Especially upsets me when they eye the tigerd !!.They must be the next Storm the way their cap might be .
 
If we let Fafita go, we're deadset idiots. Just as we were starting to build an opposing forward pack too >_<
 
There is some bad intel in this thread, seriously. For starters Andrew Fifita is not leaving the Tigers. He is rated highly by the club, just as Tim Moltzen is, neither player is going anywhere. David Fifita is looking for an opportunity to play FG. He has been talking with the Bulldogs but nothing has been done officially. And after watching their State Cup team today, depth in the forwards is something the Dogs certainly won't lack next season with the signings they have made so David is no sure thing of getting a start there if he does go.

As for Ratu Tagive, haven't seen him play, but if he's Peni's younger brother, he has good genes, hopefully he has better luck with injuries than Peni does though.
 
I got some mail from todays game that A.Fafita may already be receiving big money offers from rival clubs for `2012 and beyond and that these clubs are trying to see if he can get out of his Tigers contract for `2011.
First of all this is very ordinary on behalf of these clubs who want to offer young vulnerable players such as Fafita the world and basically try to get him to turn on his current club over money.
Very proud to support a team like the Wests Tigers who don`t generally use these tactics to poach players from rival clubs, but instead do their best to look after our own products.
I hope Andrew has a good think about this before signing any future contracts and realises that the Tigers have been a big part of developing him as a player and also realise that the Tigers are not a club who will use him up and spit him back out like certain other clubs.

I can't see the wests tigers management under any circumstances giving him a release from his contract next year. If he does sign for another side in 2012 our management has let down our club badly, as he is a true talent.

If he was to sign early for 2012 with another side it is not beyond Sheens to stick him in reserve grade for all of next year and concentrete on the development of Woods and Murdoch in the NRL.
 
Some clubs are mugs offering the world - Bulldogs and roosters in particular.

This is gotto be a ploy to upgrade contract $$$

PS Can Retu play under 20s next year??
