Ray Cashmere - another prop option

God… there's gotta be better options out there? Can't believe we pass on Mason and consider this guy!

If I was Junior Moors and the club signed Ray Cashmere to play first grade I would ask for an immediate release.

haaaaa guy was average in 05 we got heaps of his type here already we dont want to make it any easier than it already is. shhhessh

Seriously? we are currently negotiating with ;
1\. the slowest prop in the comp - Cashmere
2\. The fattest- Rose
3\. The most disruptive- Mason

I'm all for equal opportunity, but…

Not that any of them would be ideal for the long term, but if somehow we could fit Rose,Mason and Cashmere for the price of one, take them all in for this year. Remember few years back Magpies, the value we got from signing Wynn, Gibbs and Rampling.

I Knew we would regret Letting Gibbs go. I didnt mind losing Fifita but Gibbs was a different story. IF we still had him we would not be chasing all these other blokes that IMO have nothing on Bryce!!!

I think Ray Cashmere if he found out that there was 3 pages being written about him on a forum about him coming back to the tigers would get a laugh

A big laugh

If we have to sign someone, I would prefer Mason any day over Cashmere (pukes in bucket at the thought).

Well thats a disgrace if true.

I guess he must have looked really good in a side that won by 60 points

Matty Johns said on Triple M Grill Team we have signed him and he will play this weekend. :crazy

Remember all Johns was involved with our club while Cashmere was there Probably a wind up

Anyone's gotta Be Better than that DUD Blair,,, what an error by our recruitment team,, hes done Nothing, and doesnt look like doing anything either,, at the time I was Shattered that we let Fafita go.. I've since realised it was just as big a mistake to let Gibbs go.. We are talking about signing front rowers that don't do half the grunt work both these players did.. Time to show why we off loaded proven players for you Adam,,, step up or step off !!

I don't remember Cashmere that well (was o/s for most of 05) but I saw the recent Illawarra/BRET game and while he didn't stand out the Illawarra forwards went very well. He must've done something. (Illawarra also had David Gower). If he makes yards, and puts his body on the line, then could be a good bench option.

Moors was better than Cashmere that day after playing NRL off the bench the night before.

Cashmere was the poorest of all the Cutters forwards. It is why signing him makes little to no sense

I could wear this sort of panic buying if injuries in one position were rife. But Galloway is the only injured big man isn't he?

If Sheens didn't think Moors was up to it, placing such huge emphasis upon an untested Groat with no plan B is ridiculous.

Yeah, I wasn't really watching Cashmere. Just trying to look on the bright side. I know what you say about Moors, think he bulldozed about three or four defenders for one try. Wouldn't mind seeing that in first grade.

NZ Warriors Player Lewis Brown is no longer avaliable just agreed to join Panthers for 3 years. Would of loved to pick him up.
