Shows what kind of club the dragons are -just because the clubs have a disagreement shouldn't stop a bloke playing first grade and earning more to feed his family just because of a grudge

The #FREERAYCASHMERE tag has now been created on twitter by someone. Been copping the odd bit of abuse from dragons fans this evening. It's been kind of amusing. Even after seeing Moltzen fail at Kogarah that night the pain is all to real to them still.

Clay Meteyard ‏ @ClayInfinity - I am off to have sex with the Mrs under a Ray Cashmere poster. #KeepRay @RLW_Mole @NRL_Dragons #redv #FREERAYCASHMERE

That tweet made me laugh.

So it seems we were after 2 props. Ray Cashmere and Willie Mason. Cashmere fell through because the Dragons/Cutters are blocking it and Mason would have put us over the cap because he doesnt qualify for the union excemption. This must be on the assumption that we signed both? So I say lets just sign Mason. Our pack would look like,

8\. Woods
9\. Farah
10\. Galloway
11\. Blair
12\. Ellis
13\. Heighington

14\. Fulton
15\. Murdoch-Masilla
16\. Bell
17\. Mason

Dragons make Tigers and Cashmere sweat on move
March 30, 2012

Did ill-feeling from the Dragons over the Tim Moltzen affair this week cost Wests Tigers the services of Ray Cashmere to bolster their front-row stocks? SinBin has been told Cashmere was so close to answering an SOS from Tigers coach Tim Sheens he actually turned up at Concord Oval on Wednesday for training but received a phone call while still in the car park informing him St George Illawarra had refused a release. Cashmere, who played three matches for the Tigers in their run to the 2005 premiership after returning from a stint in France, is captain of the Illawarra Cutters - the Dragons' NSW Cup feeder team, coached by Paul McGregor. The move, which follows negotiations a week earlier with Willie Mason, suggests the Tigers may have underestimated the effect the loss of Bryce Gibbs, Andrew Fifita and Todd Payten has had on the team.
