Be interesting to see if Joey puts in like he did to some extent last game. With the English centre Gildart now signed for 2022 and beyond, and with Joey in his last contract year with us, he must know that he's still got a lot of work to do to get a new deal.

If we re-sign him we are worse than a basket case, I just don’t have the words.

Naming Madden on the bench takes some of the pressure off him into the leed up to the game

If madge plays Mbye next to Brooks, he has either been told he has a couple of games to fix the problem, or he is simply going mad

I agree with you about Simpkin and Stefano.

I have no issue with Simpkin going back to reggies.

I have no issue with Liddle at 9 over him.

I think Mbye would be at 14 and Madden at 6 (or 7) if it wasn't Madden's debut. I feel like for his debut Madge is simply doing him a favour and playing Mbye there til the game slows down.

It could also be that Maguire considers Mbye a stronger defensive 6 and wants to stop us conceding big leads to start games.

To me it seems like it'll go;

Mbye starts at 6.
Madden comes on after 25, moves to the halves and Mbye moves to 13 and spells a prop. Ofa moves to prop.

It does feel quite sucky for Douehi, but beyond that it all makes sense to me.

AD to centre isn’t that bad . We can still utilise his kicking game , or move him to 13 , when Mbye comes on . AD a has been stifling his outside men , but he’s been dynamic with the ball in hand , so it’s a hard one . Maybe Madge just wants jock to shuffle it on , give early ball and control the game .

One things for sure , if madden kills it , then Luke might be wearing a Titans jersey next year .

So jock will come in and play in the halves for Mbye to switch into hooker or whatever.

Stefano gets the chop but Seyfarth stays.

Simpkin gets dropped after an ordinary game but is our future and prefer Mbye playing hooker over him.

This team selection is a joke it’s clear Madge has no idea at all or strategy on how our team will play against the knights its a lucky dip.

Don't really care if he ends up going at the end of the year. Assuming he wants a new WT deal (be surprised if he doesn't) he just might pull his finger out in this and our remaining 2021 games and help us rack up a few wins.

AD kicking game can’t be used often.
He would be out of position if it was.
I do think he would be a better center than 5/8th as it suits more a running style. But why Jock on the bench what a dumb dumb selection.

He played great when Titans clocked off, I agree. Sick of playing catch up footy every week ...

Give me the same defensive attitude we showed against the dragons & souffs any day over scoring a flurry of points when we’ve already been beaten

Didn't see anyone else doing anything, he was one the few blokes who tried from the first minute to the last. Brooks and Mbye certainly didn't step up when the titans clocked off
