Dragons are a lesson their big money players are all ageing Gutherson, Holmes, Cook, They have no speed out wide and too many forwards. Our roster was like this years gone by and we always got smoked by cowboys and titans.

He’s stuck playing footy like it’s 2018 . The game has moved on . 4 hitups and a kick will get you what happened today . They won the penalty count by heaps and had the lions share of field positions … but donuts. I don’t even think the cowboys were that good . Pretty predictable IMO. If I was in charge of the dragons I’d be looking to sack him . That game plan is unacceptable in 2026 . No matter what Cattle you have . It’s basically waiving the white flag . You have to be more creative than that. The dogs are suffering from the same outdated attacking structures. Like I said the other day , they’re trying to play Penrith lite …from 2023 . Only Penrith have moved on strategically from that this year .

How m things have changed - there was a time when our fans were rueing that we did not make more of an effort to get him. Doubt anyone would be feeling that way now.

It can't all be on Flanno. It is an old, weak roster that is low in talent. He had the Dragons fighting hard the first few weaks and, except for a few bum ref decisions, they might have won a game or two. He's a good coach, peptides or not, but it's hard to keep a limited team fighting when repeated strong efforts come to nought.
