A much better position for a youngster to get a grounding in first grade. Not many fresh out of school players can handle the defensive challenges at centre, with someone like Tim Brasher being a rare anomaly that could manage it.

We lucked out V souths when.Jye Gray got injured a few weeks.later....the little one played a key role in their win

But yeah lately a lots going our way but we are putting ourselve in a position to be able to overcome setbacks

Physicality wise, I would agree. However, defensive choice wise, Brasher was pretty well up to speed from the get go for mine, continuing on from his junior days.

Even back coaching against him when he was playing U13's for Burwood United in the newly combined Wests/Balmain comp, he was the one centre/back across that grade that almost always made the correct call.
