You know on the team that lose 153 0 in 3 weeks get smashed by every other team but always beat us

If we don't win this game just give the spoon now and be done with it we would be a pathetic joke to lose to them 4 times in a year
 
I can see us winning, but it being a struggle. A win where you have to fight hard against this mob atm is considered a loss imo.
 
A loss here and I would sack Taylor.

It would be totally unacceptable to lose to this team in their current state.

That is my take on what will happen as well, and then there will be the Taylor is safe lines from the club again because we beat the team every team bar us who played them has beat as well, we really are a rabble.

Totally agree GNR. The board need to be telling Taylor privately that if we don't win by 40 he won't be here next year. Seeing as though we are allegedly a first grade team and Newcastle are openly admitting not to be ATM.
 
This will be a dog fight of a match. They'll be ready to rip in, same cant be said about our lot, sadly.
 
If our forwards do not show up next week, we will get beaten. Knights do not have a bad pack, but fall away from there.
 
It's a weird situation playing Knights. Previous seasons we've either turned our form around (the "camp" weekend of 2013?) or torpedoed it with losses to the Knights (2007 final-round loss).

I don't know if I can cope with a loss to Knights next week - they are arguably worse than last year. I mean we are bad but they are getting destroyed even more badly.

Pretty much same boat with the cubs though, only the scoreboard didn't reflect it as much. Cubs were never in the game from the opening minute.
Both will head in with shocking performances, so not surprised with either side rebounding with a big win. Loser of this deserves the spoon.
 
I agree with the scenario put forward. The Knights have been whipped, their pride has been hurt and they want to vent their frustrations on a side they seem to relish playing - us! However, I think we are hurting too from the total demolition against the Bulldogs and we won't be complacent. I think we will win at home but it will be a physical dogfight early on, with our greater overall attacking flair getting us over the line.

You are joking, right?

Knights were lapped last week 38-0, and the week after Broncos put on 53 they were well handled by Manly.

Knights might well beat us because we are very bad at bringing our A-game against bottom teams, but not because Knights are smarting from the hiding they got today.
 
Since they last played us they have been beaten in their last 4 games by a total of 179-10 and been held scoreless in 3 of those 4 matches…. If we can't beat the Knights this week we deserve the spoon.
 
As usual, we will need the opposition to play terrible for us to win. We're a chance but its really up to how the knights play , not how we play.
 
We win this game, we avoid the spoon, cos there's no way the Knights win more than 3 more games this yr. So that's something…..................I guess.

Farah and Tedesco were both there when they got us a month or so back. I think with the likes of Ballin and Taylor in the team this time around they can get the job done, but only by a small margin.

Passion for the jersey, passion for the game, passion for your teammate, passion for your club and passion for each and every fan.

And giving all till your spent.

Only then we might have a chance to be the team we could be.
