When those really bad bush fires were in Victoria 11 years ago, i went to the local Good Guys store and purchased 5 Toasters and 5 Kettles and gave them to the Local Sallie's store and donated them.
That way they or and charity couldn't keep 10% or more for administration fees.

Mate if that did happen it would be awhile off because we had a fire last night that came within 50 metres of the café...my boss stayed until 3am making coffee and pancakes for the firies...free of charge..
