I really can't see myself voting yes, everything you hear from Albo is so wishy washy and has very little detail in it. If you have to go digging for information on it, its probably best not to vote in favour of it. I feel a bit like they are seperating society into two classes which is why this is an issue in the first place.

No it didn’t. The amendment literally took out the bit I quoted, about aboriginals. Not sure why you would twist that when it’s literally quoted verbatim but you have never been a good faith actor when it comes to politics Formerguest, the ideology always kicks in

Not that Covid Vaccines, that kept us alive are some XYZ UN/Clinton/Tom Hanks Conspiracy theory.

Likewise Ukraine, it was invaded because Russia wanted a land grab. Why? because Russia grabs land! As it did in Crimea, Chechnya, Georgia and a bunch of surrounding states.

But hey it has to be the Celebrity George Clooney/Gynneth Paltrow/Justin Bieber forcing Putin to invade Ukraine right?

Yes the media does distract, Yet what the QANON nonsense does is cause disorientation and doubt. Ensure you can't and don't trust anything so your effectively useless. Are you focused on "voice, Ukraine, Covid"? Nope your focused on "transexuals you have never met, if people in grainy photos that have been scanned 3 times look like lizards, etc". Literally the normal Over-information dripchain is replaced by FAKE NONSENSE.

All up for Focus, the conversation had a great article on if "Full employment" should be recognised as being lower then 5%? yet it missed a lot of history as "Full Employment" was originally 2% in the 1970's. If you work, this matters.

So all up for having Conspiracy theories, and all up for talking about local issues that actually effect us more. Just when I say Conspiracy theories I mean "why did Christopher Boyce, American Intelligence agent say that the CIA interfered in Australian politics" and not "unconvincing poor lies to justify donating to millionaries <Give us Moniez Now!>". When I talk focus I mean re-introduce free dental care to help tackle Anorexia and solve a major health issue in our community!

If you don't like having something rammed down your throat, don't ram something worse down to get rid of it! Argue for what you WANT!

Just for the record, you do fully acknowledge the privilege they receive based on race, whether in your opinion its "small fry" or not. My reply was in response to being treated equal. As weird a concept as that is for the left to grasp.

I wonder how the white fella feels getting cut off for missing a job interview over his fellow countryman that has never shown once for any appointment ever and is 100% untouchable. I guess in that guys life its just small fry. Doesnt matter though when political ideology is always involved in forming ones opinion over all else i guess.

Who mentioned conspiracy theories?
It’s a term invented to discredit ideas they didn’t agree with

Demonising ideas they don’t agree with is more alive now than at any time in my life but is undergoing a rebranding as misinformation and disinformation

Why do all manner of movie and rock stars go to the apparent war zone that is Ukraine to have a photo op with that other actor, Zelensky

Plenty would argue the Covid jabs have had devastating health consequences for many so far with god knows what to come

It’s no conspiracy to think all isn’t as it seems but all are entitled to their own opinions

Same as the Voice, I don’t trust those behind it so I won’t be supporting it

Exactly. It would have been madness to side with Russia over Ukraine, as some want the west to do. The irony is that a number of Russia's breakaway states are so awful that their people would probably benefit from Russia invading.

Instead Russia invades the most functional breakaway region and, upon facing resistance, they decided to completely destroy it. That is the regime that some think we should support.

I don’t trust them either.
Albo hasn’t convinced me with his urgings.
We’re expected to vote Yes because we have love in our heart?
Love for others means doing the right thing for them.
We want to know what it is we’re voting for.
Albo is setting the example, he doesn’t know what it is, hasn’t read it , don’t know what they’re saying, but he has love in his heart.
This debate may be a turning point in Australia’s history regardless of the outcome.
I hope Australia grows from this debate.

How can we bring people together by separating them? One group painted as the oppressor and the other the victim.

You get people to act based on emotions and they tend to ignore facts

With Covid it was their old favourite, fear

With the Voice it’s a combination of fear and love always with a dose of fitting in, greater good

On the Voice you’re most likely to be labelled a racist which is even harsher than a conspiracy theorist label and in many ways is the fear many run to the sanctuary of the Yes vote to avoid being called a racist

Being called a racist these days means nothing.
That word has lost all of its punch as it is totally over used in incorrect circumstances.
