Renew membership from Sep 24 Email

Does anyone else find it funny that they keep sending these emails about renewing yet you can't find any information about pricing anywhere?

The professionals in the membership department must be planning to put them up at 10am Monday morning.

Be kind…..they are still trying to work out how much they are going to pay us to renew....

My membership papers are pinned above the shredder in my office nearly shredded them the other day but had reservations.Am waiting to see what happens and the credentials of any new coach as this has a bearing on my decision to renew . Would of thought they would of put things back a bit , am thinking the leadership in head office is non exsistant not good business when a couple of extra weeks could make all the difference to membership numbers.

From reading various threads on the forum over the last few seasons it would seem the club does not have its act together on a few fronts - front office, memberships, communications.

All aspects of dealing with the fans, front line or en mass.

Do we really mean so little to them?

It's all pretty disappointing especially when the stories of other clubs are related, and it's clear WT really needs to improve a lot. I thought Humphreys was a good appointment but now I'm not so sure… And I am also considering not renewing membership but I want to be able to tell them why - which email should we use?

And for what it is worth MTD I understand why you felt let down. I thought Noyce had more respect for fans too.

I consider myself a fanatical fan (well those that know me tell me that). If I am considering not renewing at the moment I wonder how many will actually not who aren't as passionate. The club is going to take a big hit in membership number I feel which will put more strain on the finances.

Seems like all the hard work that was done to build this club have all been unraveled in the space of 3-4 months of mayhem. Those at the top really need to take a hard look at themselves and the job they have done.

:sign:

Do/does the club maybe just think once a supporter always a supporter, which may be true, but they have to realise most of us will support the tigers in some respect no matter how bad we are BUT that doesn't mean as paid members… This is what hurts - they just think we renew or sign up just because we are wests tigers supporters, like being taken for granted.

I really do hope the powers that be read some of these threads, Unless - are we only a small minority ? Does the average fan just sign up because its the blind love of the club no matter how bad we are on and off the field.

I personally didn't renew this year but that was due to personal commitments and finances but of course right now it's just bad timing when we are going through this bad period...

Maybe it's the mentality of the show goes on and it doesn't matter how things are off field... A directive from the top no doubt , But it sure reeks of bad communication or mis management . Interested to see how things pan out in the next week or so.

Theye trying to make a week of it….maybe trying to shift focus

Here’s a sneak peek of what’s on offer!

Monday Madness (24 September): Win tickets to the NRL Members Grand Final party as well as the Channel Nine Grand Final Footy Show on Thursday 27 September.

Tiger Tuesday (25 September): Win a double pass to the Club’s very popular Grand Final Luncheon this Friday 28 September.

Temptation Thursday (27 September): Win a Wests Tigers merchandise pack.

Friday Frenzy (28 September): Win a Wests Tigers Signed Jersey, signed by the entire 2012 squad.

I got the same email. How interesting is it that you can't reply

I got the email, I love the ideas am thinking I will renew or perhaps upgrade on the Tuesday to try and win the free double pass to the gf luncheon. Of course you can't reply that's standard practice in edm's as you would need a whole systEm and team to respond to emails that can be answered and will be answered in other ways ( you mightn't like it but it is standard practice in marketing). Can't wait to renew and as I said looking to upgRade. Can't believe some people aren't renewing because they don't agree with the odd decision the club is making -so if you care enough then get yourself on the board or write a letter but if you want the club to do better then making them poorer is a very stupid way to do it and will only lead to worse performance and worse management but hey each to thier own.

Its called the voice of change , I wonder if the club hadn't had members ,fans of the Forum and others make their thoughts known that they were reviewing their positions on whether they would remain as members of the club whether the club would be making the changes they appear to about to make

Definitely renewing my membership - TIGER TILL I DIE.
Just opened the e-mail. Made me feel funny - there are messages from Sheens on it. I really think the club should have waited a week until the mess is over (hopefully). Bad timing IMHO!

I have got to award a point to the Tigers management on this one - brilliant ploy to offer the daily 'teaser' incentives for renewing each day this week.

Regardless of how one might feel about the current shenanigans - I reckon this weeks play has won them a few more membership than they would have otherwise got.

It's a pity somebody in the membership department can't spell.

Just received another email reminder today, the blurb is signed by Tim Sheens & Robbie Farah. I think the Club should have held off sending this out for two reasons- The first as we all know is the obvious above and secondly it seems a bit insensitive to the Man involved to be using him as the basis of your marketing when its the prime reason most of the fan base wish to see change. Surely a more generic message could have gone out?
