Twice in the last week I have attempted to give rep points

It has showed up not giving rep points on the particular comment , but when i try and redo the rep points it says I have already given them out

Thoughts ??

Some are abusing the system. Came across one particular poster yesterday who in the last 7 days has received about 25-30 points from the one person curiously called ''Steven''. Just found it interesting as i've never seen this Steven character ever post at all

Yeah I found that amusing GNR he picked up 5 rep points for a one word answer.

That account has now been banned and the offending user (as small minded as they are) placed on mod preview until the year 2020.

Pretty much sums him up in a nutshell thinking he could do this and no one would even blink an eyelid. I can also understand why Steven never commented, you'd only have to read 1 or 2 of his posts to realize who he really was. Would be pretty hard to separate himself from his other identity if you know what i mean
 
On a serious note I have a rep points message that won't go away

Any thoughts on how to get rid of it have deleted all board cookies Logged out checked all the messages and closed the window

When I close the window it disappears until I go back to the forum and then it reappears

I have the new rep points banner stuck across my screen again

Doesn't matter if clear board cookies , log out , whatever ,the same message stays up on the screen
