So has Josh gone?

Apparently will be leaving next week according to people in the thread.

I thought that was last week. 48hrs?

Stick to the topic thanks guys. Any further posts regarding Tim Moltzen etc will be removed. It's a debate for another time in a more relevant thread.

Apparently all that is required is to have Reynolds return to Doggies is the decision to be rubbered stamp by Doggies Board.
In regard to bagging first grade players it very easy to hide behind a keyboard and critise the only people in a position to do that is another first grade player and very few choose to do this because they know how hard it is to get to first grade

It's also hard to get to the top of politics and entertainment, but if you're paid by and work for the public then you're deserved to be judged by them as well ala meatloaf, Donald, sco*mo etc

Agreed mate, but there is criticism and then there implying that someone was gutless or a joke, and displaying ignorance to the courage they showed to make first grade in the 1st place. Moltzen had enough deficiencies as a footballer to point out and be critical of, he didn't need to be compared to a 12 year old girl implying that he lacked courage.

Tim played some solid games as a halfback for us early in his career, we won 7 in a row with him at halfback at one point. As injuries had their impact and he was moved to fullback we saw a player who was out his depth in the position, he didn't really attack the ball in the way a fullback should and his kick returns lacked urgency. See it is possible to discuss his difficulties as a footballer without calling him gutless.

As a fullback, Tim Moltzen on kick returns would usually pass to a winger, sometimes a long pass when a winger was in a worse position to him. On the rare occassion that he had to take a hit up on a kick return he would run into the defence in a manner that appeared to be designed to not get hurt, similar in defence. Call it what you will.

Glad I'm not the only one that remembers this.... He wasn't called timid for nothing

Lets all agree - every player that makes NRL is a great footballer! Just that some are greater than others, and if you want to win more times than you lose you need to have a team that has more of the "greater" ones than the "not as great ones".

It’s next week now ? if we just keep saying that we’ll get it right eventually

"It's understood after productive talks with Reynolds' management, the Tigers are preparing to table the Bulldogs an offer in the coming days" (Daily Telegraph)

Historically if we don't want the player and wanna move him on ,we play close to full freight for next few seasons of what is a usually inflated contract...but if we wish to keep the player breaking contract on us we get nothing and player gets granted an immediate release...?

Wonder if we can loan him to the dogs (for 2020)? That way, if Benji retires at year's end, he comes back into the no. 6 shirt in 2021. Benji's getting on (I know how he feels) - another injury might be all she wrote. If we're paying close to full contract value, I don't see the point in giving him away. He gets a game, Bulldogs get experience and we keep our plan B.

Shouldn't that be the other way round..

What’s better, we give Bulldogs an amount we are willing to pay so we can know how much money we have to play for the future, or let bulldogs offer probably minimum wage

What's better is we offer nothing and the Bulldogs pay as much as it costs to get him if they want him so much..if they are just offering minimum to get him ..it's not a good deal for us at all

I'm just glad Pascoe stated 2 seasons ago Wests Tigers has learnt from the mistakes of the past in relation to the salary cap and will not be paying for players to play for other teams in the future..

But guys two days ago certain people on here were adamant this transaction with the Dogs was not happening ... i dont understand ...
