We have some smart people looking after recruitment these days ..
Sign all these young guys up and if we get a diamond or 2 out of them we will have the money to retain them in a few years when we lose JR, Packer, McQueen etc..
Yes and no Jonesy
You still need some hard heads who have been around the game to lead the youngers blokes around the field and potential pitfalls
Potential is still just that ...potential
Agree mate .. Nothing beats experience
Just the fact that there will be money in the kitty for a few special players that need bigger money is comforting.
Nothing hurts more than getting that young talent or the diamond in the rough & you don't have the money so they leave for another club with the funds...
i do now we have heard all this before so fingers crossed.
Some current players will probably get upgraded by that time as well so not as much as we may think but still a good amount.
Even for next year I’m sure some guys will be earning more than this year plus we will have to pay for BJ Leilua so we might not have as much as we think. Hopefully we can get one good player at least like JAC or Cotric.
G'day Josh: I'm not being disrespectful in any way to JAC, but is he a risk of going walkabout with his Brothers of his Mob and maybe doing the wrong thing again?
Gday mate - There definitely is, but hopefully he learns from his mistake during this pre season And Bellamy had a good go at him for stuffing up and risking the NRL return. Think he’ll be even more of a risk of stuffing up if he goes to Souths with all his mates as well. Think roosters will end up signing him to be honest
For me he’s good enough a player to take that risk on. ***It’s only been one incident*** so we have to give him the benefit of the doubt.
Only one incident? Do some more research.
I can’t think of any others besides this latest drama? Wikipedia didn’t show me anything either.
Here is the appetizer, there is more but I couldnt be bothered doing your research for you.....Tigers were taking a chance on him and IMO he hasnt really changed. IMO It wont end well for him.

Getting in trouble at 16 is a lot different to getting in trouble while being a footy player, I’d say there’s plenty of other players who got in trouble as kids too. As a first grader I’ve only seen him stuff up with the camping incident nothing else.
I dont think he was 16 when in the first article, and the "camping incident" was his third incident with police about breaching COVID requirements (second article).
The article says he was 16 playing SG ball when it happened.
Fair enough, how old was he when he was confronted by the police three times about breaching COVID?
Like I’ve been saying the whole time the camping incident was stupid. His other warnings were just for sitting in his car, Ive seen thousands of people do the same or similar. Not enough for me to not sign him but if you think different that’s okay. I’d really like to sign Nic Cotric for the wing if we don’t get JAC which seems likely.
