Alas there is no way that this Enfield Federal junior will ever play for the Wests Tigers, as has been stated his family is very closely rooted to the Blue & White team (Bulldogs) unfortunately this means if he plays NRL it will be for the CB Bulldogs, down the track if he is improving at the same rate and we (WESTS TIGERS) get our financial orders in affairs we may be able to0 get him to sign a VERY lucrative deal, but it is going to have to be in the millions over something like five (5) years and by millions I am talking about the amount that Robbie Farah is on now.
So disappointing and he has been working on leg speed and trying to decrease his size so that he will be of benefit to any team who needs a forward or someone who can play in the centres such as happened to us this year when Jason Taylor put Matt lodge in the centres to replace one of the injured centres even when he had one the best defensive centres playing the other side of the second row (Chris Lawrence), by the way they scored three tries down Matt Lodge's side in about 15 minutes. Richard is a big loss to the WESTS TIGERS.
You say that, however if its obvious that he has no clear path to first grade at the dogs due to an abundance of other top talent in the position then he would certainly consider his options.
It's his career and livelihood after-all! No player would say if i can't play for my favourite team then i won't play for any other club and will effectively retire! If given the security of a contract with the opportunities/finances which is isn't otherwise available to him, i'm sure he'd certainly consider approaches from any other club in the comp.
For this season though he would stay at his favourite team and give his all in hopes of securing his future with them. After that he either re-signs or it's open season.
