Richards a liability

Going out backwards, it's sad.

People knocking Richards about not going low - it's not that he won't, it's that he can't! Watch every low kick, he struggles to get down, even the Elliot try totally nutmegged him, he didn't get close.

Does anybody know hasan salehs number? He's 10 times the winger pat is.

How good is that 'invaluable boot'? LOL

I love his kicks infield to nobody, lets him he Miskicks the next one so we might score like the time against parra

I can understand Pat's drop in playing ability as he has gotten older, but what I can't understand is how his goal kicking ability has suddenly up and left him! He was acing them at the beginning of this season - every try we scored was a guaranteed 6 points, but now he can't kick for peanuts! This isn't making sense to me. Halligan and El Masri were pretty ordinary players towards the end of their careers as well, but neither of them lost their kicking ability like Pat has. I just don't get it, good goal kicking is not something that just leaves you like that.

I just can not believe we do not have two better options for the 2 and 5 jumper in the club. Everyweek they are costing us points and with Pat up and leaving at the end of the season why not blood a player

Sad to see- and hoped I wouldn't .
Truth is he just can't mix it any more.
Only thing saving him is a lack of talent in the lower grades, but with Moses being as good a kicker, if Moltzen stays fit he has to be a better option to replace him for the rest of this year.

its just truly embarressing now, patty drop yourself for the sake of the team, cause taylor wont drop u

The hard thing is we actually make room on that left side multiple times every game and he constantly had to come back infield due to being slow and soft. I'm not going to mention that storm player but even if we had naquima playing left wing he would finish a hell of a lot more then pat would. We can't make left side plays count unless we are literally 1m from the line due to Pat.

I love him, but he offers nothing atm. His biggest strike weapon got shelved by the supercoach and even his goal kicking isn't even what it use to be. Think he's already got Paris on his mind, and who could blame him.

Who can blame him?? I can. Piss off now if u don't want to be here. And I agree it really does look like he doesn't want to be here. Playing with little heart

The whole team ( except Teddy ) are playing like they don't want to be here KS.

Pat is down on form i agree, and I don't know why, but i don't think it's lack of heart that's causing it. Our whole team is awful bar Teddy.
He's moving on, and i for one wish him all the best.

It's baffling Flip. Maybe he's carrying a foot, leg injury? That would explain it. 😱pen_mouth:

i think pats head is just not in it any more. wouldnt surprise me if this is his last year.

😱pen_mouth: He's signed with Le Catalans for 2 years from next season

He was very disappointed last night, as his face showed. Giving it a go, but going backwards at a rate of knots. Not much use having him in the side if not utilising his proven kicking strengths, if they still exist. Sad decline.

This kills me. We create opportunities but he cannot do anything with the space that he has.

Credit where it due…he did his job this week. Was solid in general and kicked very well. Hopefully he does the same next week.

What a difference a week makes. Good to see the coach utilise his kicking strengths that are obviously still there.

Pat has done more good than bad for this club over the years,he realises he must move on,that's why he is going to SL again,it will suit him there..everybody has a bad game, however Pats experience has helped the younger guys this year…wish Pat all the best and a big thank you for your efforts while with us...
