We disagreed last week when I believed Papali should have been sent off for leading with the elbow/shoulder in a tackle which put Dugan out of the game. Do you believe it a coincidence boundaries are being pushed as a consequence?
Boundaries pushed by who?
The players?
They go right to the line and over it every week…. I don't quite get your last sentence?
Lack of on field action by referees. If Papali had been sent off, I think Soliola may have thought before continuing with his late tackle. Sure Slater was falling but the tackle was very late with the intent of putting the utmost physical pressure on the ball player.
"Putting the utmost physical pressure on the ball player" is what RL is all about, it's not badminton.
Soliola dealt Billy The Kid the Dead Man's Hand. Karma is beautiful at times, Billy wasn't marched for deliberately kicking Skando in the face years ago from memory. He slipped at the last minute, Soliola's tackle would of hit him in the body otherwise. Nothing in it, the damage was done when his head hit the ground. Soliola will get weeks thanks to Archer's pathetic comment yet Jack Wighton got off last year for lining Joel Edwards up from 20 metres away and collecting his head, knocking him out of the game. No consistency whatever.
