Is Wicky blowing up because Soliola wasn't sent off…Oh...

I think a good old wicky blow up is more entertaining then the game at the moment.

Was I watching another game i thought raiders were crap and failed to comment on the Slater incident. .

He is just deflecting attention away from the fact that he took a side that almost made the GF and turned them, with the same squad and without any significant injuries, into a side that will miss the 8 only nine months later.
Canberra made some idiot mistakes tonight and you cant do that against such a well drilled side and expect to win. Stuart and his coaching staff are to blame, not the refs.

Good on him! Too many inconsistent ref interpretations deciding the outcome of matches. It's gone too far and it's ruining the game.

Probably pissed off his player was penalised for a lateish tackle on a kick return while one of his players was tripped chasing the kick. Should've been Canberra penalty… Incorrect call led to storm try

Commentators and media going ballistic Soliola wasn't marched… Despite Slater clearly falling into it. Didn't realise so many blind people follow the game

Refs had nothing to do with Canberra losing that game. If anything, they favoured his side.

Soliola was lucky to finish the game after taking a bloke's head off with a late swinging arm whilst off the ball, that required said player to be stretchered off the field with half an hour still to play.

He did the same at Parra - Ricky seems to have a short use by date wherever he goes.

Something has to be done about the officiating in the game. So often the little calls and the penalty count goes to the top side in the contest because they're expected to win the game.

In saying that it wasn't the refereeing that cost Canberra tonight. The Raiders turned over far too much football, particularly in their own half. If like Ricky said this was their best game of the season, then it certainly justifies their position on the ladder. Looking for someone to blame when things aren't going right is a major sign of weakness and one that Stuart has shown consistently across his career.

Hot tip Ricky, you're a better chance of winning when your boys hang on to the pill.

They were gifted possession only to hand the balk back over.

Ricky is a deluxe knob but I've got some sympathy with the general tone of his comments. The refereeing is terrible, inconsistent and uneven. The same teams get a leg up and others get screwed.

I'm afraid this is what I think too. There were two forward passes in the set of six that led to the Storm's last try. The referees have too much influence on the outcome of the game. The recent pattern is refereeing decisions take one team out of the game with through having no possession. An example was WT vs Sea Eagles, where the Tigers had no ball for over twenty minutes.

so, when Slater was knocked out in the 50th minute mark, did Ricky say the refs got that wrong and the Raiders should have been down a player?

Stuart's lost the shed so has Hasler and I think Kearney as well all three clubs have some sort of internal issues we've had them for the last couple of years if the front office &a coach don't see eye to eye it all heads south & ends up in your changeling room good luck Ivan

There are lots of rumblings at souths with maguire and his players also

Interesting character Ricky Stuart. Seems to be able to lift teams to a point but it is very shortlived. Might suffer from having too much passion which just doesn't resonate with everyone and can actually end up working against you. Got to be able to regulate your emotions in positions of power not sure Ricky can.
