RIP Graham Murray

Passed away this afternoon, age 58\. Thoughts with his family and those in the Rugby League community.

Coached the Cowboys side to their first finals series and Grand Final.
 
Wow, how did this happen. I never heard he was I'll. Always thought he was a good coach. RIP and condolences to his family.

If I'm not mistaken he was coaching the Australian women's squad but had to miss the World Cup due to health problems. Had suffered a heart attack and couldn't travel to England.

Great Bloke who loved Rugby League…

I always remember him for being Boned by the Roosters to bring Ricky Stuart in.

We can confirm Graham Murray has had his life support turned off. However Graham is still with us and our thoughts and prayers are with him.

Was shocked about his passing when I seen it on the news, didn't even know he was having problems, last I heard he was coaching the women's side

Very sad, could be described as nothing less than untapped potential. Never really supported wherever he went.

Yeah I think I heard about 2 weeks ago that he had stepped down when from the role earlier when they interviewed the Sims sister who is captain

The girls were devastated when he stepped down she said

Graham seemed a genuinely nice guy when interviewed and I would like to pass my condolences to his friends and family

correct, he had a heart attack earlier in the year and stood down from his role with the women's side. He had a second heart attack last week, after they won the cup.

RIP Muzz, seemed like a decent bloke and was a tremendous coach, put together a gun Roosters side that later played back to back to back grand finals, and also took the Cowboys from punchline to grand finalists. He will be missed.
 
In his early days as a player they called him "little Artie",he was a lot better no7 than he was ever credited to be,had a great football brain and he carried that on into his career as a coach. Top bloke who usually had a smile on his face. Way way to early to be calling stumps. RIP

Without him, Sticky wouldn't have enjoyed the early coaching success he had.

Yeah agree, he was the one that moulded that Roosters side and did a fantastic job at the Cowboys .
