The fact is that Rothfield is a fanatical Cronulla supporter. Now that Cronulla have finally put together a better than mediocre season he is showing his true colours. Not what you would call an unbiased Sports editor.

The Teles agenda is that Tim Sheens doesn't bend over to their every need at the post game press conferences & in the lead up to big games. eg. Andrew the "imposter" Webster hired a chopper to circle the sfs in the leadup to our 2010 semi because he knew TS was holding his cards to his chest (about who would play - from memory a couple of forwards were under injury clouds…)- Big blocker Bryce Gibbs gave the camera in the chopper the BIRD! Tele published the pic - GOOD ON YOU GIBBSY. That'll teach em'
All this despite Wayne Cousins & the rest of the sales guys having unbelievably good relationships with the rest of the Sydney media outlets...
That and the imposter knew we were the biggest threat to his beloved Red v chokers.
Rothfield's gossip column is really a waste of paper & ink. I don't read it anymore (haven't done for a couple of years), you can tell his mob are under the pump and struggling for readership!
With Tim now gone, and Potter being a new hand it will be interesting to see if the DT approach changes.
