Robbie Farah - Broken Hand

I'd prefer to think Cherrington will now get some NRL experience this year which can only be good for the team long term.

Yep, great news, another kid who isn't ready forced into first grade because we have zero depth…wonderful.

If Robbie didn't play yesterday people would have given it to him for putting Origin over club duties. He gets injured and gies for medical treatment and still gets a hard time. He can't win.

Might be a blessing in disguise for us. On the subject though, who is being groomed as the next inline when Robbie is gone?

The Knights' hooker who was understudy to Cherrington in the Junior Kiwis team didn't have a problem on Friday night other than a couple of fumbles. Cherrington looked good in his couple of appearances as well.

He looked OK but clearly not ready. Look at the try he conceded against Manly.

Saved a good one against Souths holding up the ball carrier.

Tedesco yesterday tried for the big play in the first half and conceded a 7 tackle restart which lead directly to a try.

The point is we can't judge a player purely on one mistake. Cherrington appears to be one who learns quickly. We need him to mature quickly as an NRL player.

Had a lough when I heard Robbie avoided the press conference to rush off for an ex ray.

All his worried about is origin and it shows.

Seriously people come up with a lot of crap here. If all he was worried about was origin he wouldn't have played the game let alone play another 20odd mins with the broken hand.

Yeah I gotta say Defiant, that is a stupid comment.

You want the bloke to hang around for a nothing presser, after a loss, with his hand busted, for what purpose?

All injured players go straight to the medicos for attention.

I didn't want him to play anyway. We did just fine the week against Souths with Halatau and Cherrington. I wouldn't be rushing Robbie back now anyway. I would say that our season has passed us by and we should be blooding the kids now. Would rather them be thrown to the wolves now than start next year without any experience.
