On Robbie and the playing NSW Cup. Now Cherrington is now the number 2 hooker for the worlds best team NZ while Robbie is prob the number 2 or 3 hooker for the 2nd best team in the world then you could say that if they are in the same club it is fair to pick Robbie in NSW cup

A coach who is a smart operator would play both in the NRL next year and would have negotiated with Farah to have one more NRL year and then move to ESL. However, we don't have a smart operator but a dud.

Sounds exactly what was said in the first article that I saw about this debacle, and exactly what is "supposed" to have been agreed with the club in the meeting with Farah
And his manager.
**That was before Taylor rang Souths and tried to do a deal with them to swap Farah with McQueen now.**
Would have been a piece of sanity in this. So it was highly likely to fail.
Would have been a good way out for everyone.

What a load of garbage…
A coach, no matter who he is, does not ring a club to try and make a player swap without the authority of the front office, It’s extremely laughable to even make such a claim.

I think I need to get off the round and round,,,I'm lost,,,

If Clubs …any Club,,,are required to confirm or deny media speculation or hearsay officially there wouldn't be much time left for much else...

It was reported on several occasions within the first few days of the meeting, if you want to check it out , go back through the posts at the time .
And no I don't believe every thing in the papers . But it was more than one paper mentioned it. And it was mentioned here as well
I also know that some on here only think that reports that comply with their opinions are correct.
I actually agree with you that it WAS laughable that it occurred.
Apparently it was him doing that which inflamed the situation. ( one of the things)
Now I know that I should have checked with you first on the story.as you seem to be an authority on what Taylor has and hasn't done
Il make sure that I do in the future. And can you tell me which sports journos are to be trusted this week , as it changes so often with some.

People are not going to change their opinion on a subject no matter how long we debate it.Regardless of the outcome i will always believe that this has been handled badly almost to the level of incompetent. We as supporters of our club have no say in the outcome.I am seriously annoyed with the way it has been handled but i have steadfastly supported my club for 50 years and will continue to do so

And remember, our esteemed coach is a bit sensitive about criticism of his coaching. Remember the infamous call into MMM about Sterling and Johns criticised the performance of the team.

So Geo, we're waiting for the official or otherwise denial to press reports.

 , i heard he rang Triple M earlier in the year but i never knew the conversation that transpired  , funny .
Which Coach does that ? rings up a Radio Station and feels the need to explain himself . He obviously can't cop criticism and gets defensive .i'm sure his bursting at the seems in wanting to say something about the Farah situation .
The guy is a tool and you get what you pay for .

**SHOOSH**
We’re hearing Marty Taupau has actually signed a contract with the Manly Sea Eagles for 2017 and beyond but is desperately trying to get an immediate release for next year.

This is a shame because even the NRL would do a better job of running the Wests Tigers than the current management.
Weekend reports that personality player Marty Taupau wants out is the latest of a series of blows that proves the administration is not up to the standards required.
The fact they are still supporting coach Jason Taylor when it is so obvious he is the main cause of their problems is bordering on a scandal.

Interesting scenario… Form is particuly an opinion based on your bias.

Maybe the club was helping Robbie, with the bias Cherrington will surpass him by next season and were simply giving him a heads up if he wants to play NRL he should change clubs.

One thing is for certain, no judge will determine whether Robbie should be playing NRL ahead of Cherrington!

Do you seriously think that Cherrington is going to play in the team. It's more like the players that are taken up in Origin to get an idea of what it's all about. Can't see them taking a liability in defence into a real game.

Liability in defense? That is about as strong an argument as heresay!

No just open your eyes and look.
If you think Cherrington is a good defender, you're dreaming,
A run in one of the minor games is about all he'll get if any

I agree fully!
It was the utmost incompetence that Mick Potter was not supported by the club last season and Farah was contracted for four years instead of two. If that hadn't happened just imagine where this club could be now.
Oh well at least the club is rock solid and supporting the coach at last. We finally have a coach and management prepared to make the tough decisions fans have been calling for to end the mediocrity.
Well done Jason Taylor and WT management!

So now we need to relocate

Some need a bex and a lie down… Seriously, some of the dramatics In this thread are way OTT

Lol. Caffeine and alcohol is the modern day bex nowdays.

Cause we don't need to relocate Ink.
As you can see , we are doing so well just the way we are . Dud coach , no money ( as you've pointed out on several occasions ). players don't want to come here,
What more could we want. It's perfect.

As you know everything,
I'm sure you would know know that if it was to happen, it would be better for it to be voluntary than forced or dropped completely.

But I'm sure you would prefer to be here in 10 years time , still with the same old crap that we have had for so long.
I do realise though that as its not one of your ideas, that it couldn't possibly be worth exploring.
Some club is eventually going to benefit from getting out of Sydney and into a one team Town.

Did this actually happen or is it hearsay,,,I can not find anything official or otherwise to say it did….Can you link the source please...

It was Not long after the whole thing blew up, I didn't have a link as I haven't got a clue how to link anything, as I've saud before. I can only say that I think it was a Paul Kent article that reported it. And almost everything said in this whole stuff up is hearsay.
But that was what was said in the article that I read.

Completely correct.

Completely incorrect.

The problem is that the club compounded its mistakes with Robbie and Potter by bringing in JT.

I'll be honest and state I could have JT partly wrong. JT might coach the team well next year. So far though he has been terrible and if Taupau leaves and JT is partially at fault I think we should sack him.

You must be having a lend because what you have written is so far from reality it can be the only explanation. Keep up the laughs NT.

The situation has been unpleasant. The club never wanted it to go to air until it had been sorted, and have only released a rushed statement after the fact since someone (gee, wonder who?) blew it up. For a change, the club are not in the game of feeding the rumour mill until it is all sorted. The responsibility for this circus lays with Ayoub.
