In 16 years of following the Wests Tigers…..I've never tipped us for the
spoon...........until now....

Cheer up Geo things can only get better…..cant they?

:sign:

Not if Happy is the new Captain Coach it wont…

In actual fact...I'm quite optimistic about next year regardless of how this saga plays out and I don't think it's over just yet there are twists and turns still to come...call me crazy but I think well surprise a few....

I'm with you Geo - I reckon our young blokes will improve greatly next year . Hopefully some of the new guys will also make an impact . It's not all gloom.

The following article sums up the whole saga…

The article calls Robbie our best player, I would have thought that title goes to Tedesco. Robbie is still a big name though.

Teddy is obviously the best at finishing but Robbie does the full gambit. Teddy gets rests occasionally so expect fireworks sometimes when having the ball.

If Taylor is sacked, especially before round 1 it will cement us as a laughing stock that will take 5 yrs to recover from. Our image will be even worse than when Hoppa was examining other players prostates. And lol @ Cleary, thinking a coach of his calibre would come anywhere near us. What coach would knowing the reigns that have been put on the previous 2 coaches and the petulant nature of the playing group. Btw, weren't we only negotiating with the Walker bros a month ago, what happened to them, not the flavour of the month anymore?

Of course coaches will stay away until everything is settled and it is not only the Tigers. Within a few month of stability everything will be okay again. Coaches will see our players' potential and want to prove their coaching ability.

Just as Turnbull is top of the charts so shows what a few months does, everybody has forgotten any dirty tricks etc. the caravan moves on.

He also said JT and Robbie loath each other and that they
haven't spoken a word to each other since training started. :blah

Well Hooper certainly is off the mark there. I've seen video of them talking to each other and smiling on the training paddock.

They'll play both Robbie and Matt (when fully fit) in the starting 17\. Both players can make 40 tackles a game each. If Halatau (95kgs) can play at lock, why can't they play either Robbie or Matt there .. ?? they're both in the 90+ kgs mark.

Let's go Tigers … !!!

agree mate.
i think once Ballin is fit - playing both will be a smart move indeed.
they are both work horses that may allow others to save up some defense juice and attack when they can

could it even be a blessing in disguise ?

I know that discussing tactics isn't the main subject here but I love the idea of playing two hookers on the field at once who are both workhorses and creative. I'm all for unconventional approaches to spice things up!

I don't buy into all this Farah is hated by his teammates stuff.
Remember how long they went on about him and Benji not getting along? That all seemed to be bullshit. Even just recently the DT when talking about Farah possibly join the Dragons said that they were 'best mates'. Just make up whatever helps sell the story I guess….

Apart from what I heard on the news (I don't read the Daily Telecrap) I am yet to hear any official response from WT. If true though, that Farah's future is secured at the club, then I am pleased and will renew multiple memberships. I will do it even faster if the next step is the announcement of the removal of Taylor from the club. An out-and-out dud if ever there was one.

I hate to dredge up the old ''true supporter'' card, but this is such a poor comment that it makes you question why people even support this club.

I don't agree with this outcome, but it doesn't mean im throwing my membership away. I was always renewing regardless of the outcome. Those holding the club to ransom over this should do everyone a favour and go away.

Agree to your sentiments wholeheartedly.

I just wish Farah goes. He doesn't love the club. If he does then he would've told his manager to shut up and keep everything in house. Even if he was treated the way he was, be the better man and take it on the chin and work it out. It can be done behind closed doors.

I hope whatever the outcome is good for the club not just one man.

Replace World with Wests Tigers…Robbie and Jason this one's for you...

So he cops heen shafted to a club outside Sydney with no GF chance?? That was expecting too much.
He is happy to go down with ship at WT (no chance of GF) but not for another club - that is understandable.

If he had gone lazy I can understand but he remained active even if slower. The club did not issue him any breaches over Tallis/Potter affair so cannot be held against him like some here do. They should have backed him on their website by publishing his mea culpa. I can't wait to see him back on their site homepage. If the team now comes good all can be forgiven on both sides.
