So we wont be discussing Robbie Farah anymore ?…that's a relief...

Or has it just begun....hmmm

Geo you are right this is just the beginning , the quote in the paper said it all to me really… Taylor's future revolves around how Farah plays early next season well there you have it Farah truely runs the club and the club has given him the right to ruin someone's career .. Well done Mr Pascoe ...Ayoub seen you coming . Next season is a right off you now have a coach that has been stripped of all credibility .If I was Talyor I would be gone today with a hefty keep quite payout and a career still intact .. Get out while you can .

If Farah doesn't play up to scratch then the coach has every right to stand him down and play BALLIN in his place. Is this not a good situation for the team to be in? Best player with best attitude gets to play.

What if Taylor is now completely gun shy to follow through with, "best player with best attitude" after his recent bout with Farah/Ayoub? If he is gun shy the club will go further downhill with very promising players like Cherrington very quickly looking for the Wests Tigers exit door.

Take your point Newtown, but if any coach can do it I think Taylor can providing of course he has backing of the board. He has shown great backbone so far to make tough calls. Cherrington should learn plenty from BALLIN and be ready to rip when Farah FINALLY goes!

Like him or not Farah is still by far the best option we have for a starting hooker next year. He is a much better player than Ballin, and Cherrington just isn't up to playing 80mins yet. I'd go with #9 Farah and #14 Cherrington, with Ballin a handy backup during Origin.

Also, I don't get all the hysteria about us having 3 hookers…
You need 1 starting hooker for first grade, and 1 starting hooker for reserve grade. And more and more teams are having bench hookers these days. You also need a hooker in case 1 or more are injured.
3 hookers is hardly a lot.

Apart from what I heard on the news (I don't read the Daily Telecrap) I am yet to hear any official response from WT. If true though, that Farah's future is secured at the club, then I am pleased and will renew multiple memberships. I will do it even faster if the next step is the announcement of the removal of Taylor from the club. An out-and-out dud if ever there was one.

They'll play both Robbie and Matt (when fully fit) in the starting 17\. Both players can make 40 tackles a game each. If Halatau (95kgs) can play at lock, why can't they play either Robbie or Matt there .. ?? they're both in the 90+ kgs mark.

Let's go Tigers … !!!

agree mate.
i think once Ballin is fit - playing both will be a smart move indeed.
they are both work horses that may allow others to save up some defense juice and attack when they can

could it even be a blessing in disguise ?

Playing lock is a lot harder on the body than playing hooker

Especially when you have reached the wrong side of 30'

Ask Wally Lewis

I hate to dredge up the old ''true supporter'' card, but this is such a poor comment that it makes you question why people even support this club.

I don't agree with this outcome, but it doesn't mean im throwing my membership away. I was always renewing regardless of the outcome. Those holding the club to ransom over this should do everyone a favour and go away.

Who's disputed that he's deferred money, or the amount claimed?

Happy Tiger and Pratten Park Magpie - refer to comments from Marshall himself.

And for good reason

Why would you trust them

They only have their own best interests at heart , always have ,always will

I'm honestly not having a go at you. G NR , but why???
All of us has the right to support the Club/Team and/Or players in any way that we want. There was always going to be some who feel strongly enough either way, to walk away from this. That doesn't make them any less of a person., or a supporter,
You and I disagree on nearly everything , but I don't don't think that you are any less of a supporter, than me or anyone else for that matter.

Whether right or wrongly a lot of supporters were incensed about what they saw as an insult to the captain of the club. I can guarantee if it had been handled better in the first place there would have been less members that felt like walking.
Whether some here like it or not, Farah still has a lot of support among a wide spread of supporters
Ive made no secret that I don't support the club, and said it straight out.
However I do support the team and probably always will
I've seen too many stupid decisions over the years here and with Wests . But have always hoped for a better year or two . But in all that time I haven't seen such a mistake as when they signed Taylor.
But that doesn't mean that I think anyone who believes different is a lesser supporter , whatever way they show it.

Here here. Wont become a member until there is some clarity.

So are we gonna get a huge increase in members and sponsors now?
Please. Farah was never gonna influence the club's finances that much.

GNR4LIFE, you, like a few on here, seem to think what is written here actually has some impact on club decisions. I think that's rubbish in the extreme.

How am I holding the club to ransom?

I am expressing my view of the world, which is, I have foregone existing seat allocations by choosing not to renew 2x platinum memberships worth in excess of $1400, due to, in my opinion, the shoddy treatment of Robbie Farah at the hands of Jason Taylor.

I am relieved that there is a possibility that Robbie's position at the club will be secured for the extent of his contract. How is expressing that feeling amount to "holding the club to ransom?"

The rush for memberships will turn to a stampede if Pascoe implements part b.

If what I hear is true then 'part b' is in progress. I won't make any further comment on it until it becomes official.
