But 10th 15th and 13th was so much better with a better playing roster….that is the issue here....Everyone excused Potter cause he didn't get what he wanted ....

BTW irrespective of the Coach you think the Players want to be known as the first Wests Tigers team to earn a spoon....Farah said no way in his presser so lets see how we go in the last 2 Rounds....Taylor won't be sacked ....It's up to them to see if they respond to their QWNERSHIP of results....

A Coach can only do so much... in the end the 80mins on the paddock is what counts...

Of course they don't want the spoon but you can't tell me that there busting there gut for the cause , why should they bother ? they will still get picked in 1st Grade the following week.

OK then when does it stop…Sheens lost them Potter never had them If you believe what has been posted on here....Taylor has lot the dressing room ....really does that say more about Taylor or this playing group and if so who would want to Coach them if they have no PRIDE in there personal performance.....Seems so easy for them we can always blame the Coach...I'm all for get rid of Taylor IF there is a Coach who will perform a miracle...

FT, I understand that you dont agree with him saying the things re ladder,results etc its not what I would say…just understand what Im saying here for a moment,this team of young hopefuls must learn to understand the defensive structures,games are won and lost on defense,attack will come on the back of good defense..you dont learn it overnight,it takes time to get the team as a whole to play to defensive structures,some of our boys maybe a bit slower than others to pick it up,I dont really know,but I do know that when Bennett tells his team to play to the structure he has implemented and stick to it,they win more than they lose.He was quoted as saying once.".I tell the team to play to the structure,it is simple and dont stray from it"...The quality of players he has at his disposal may have something to do with it...

I think we have a reasonable roster at full strength , better than parra / raiders / Titans .
Taylor doesn't inspire inspiration and is NOT a leader of men !
I'd hate to be stuck in the trenches with Taylor !

So it's always someone else fault….so Ricky Henry and Arthur can coach that will do me..Are those sides playing finals footy? ... Is a 9th to 15th finish now somehow acceptable cause you didn't get a spoon...please..

Ricky /Henry and Arthur wouldn't have them playing Taylorball . That's where our season was lost IMO .
Taylor needed them playing to their strengths which is out wide / spread the ball with speed , not one out hit up garbage :laughing:

…..........look at your young guns.
look at who their families are. Who their families closest friends and associates are.
look at who their managers are.
look at which other players are managed by their managers.
very quickly you will start to gain an insight into the "type" of advise their managers will have given them.
in a professional environment, any manager worth his salt will be advising them of their options.
if you want to play in a winning team......
If you want to be playing well enough to be eligible (or even thought of) for or working towards representative roles
if you want to be playing in a team thats competitive
if you want to be playing in an environment where you can be coached, taught and build on your skills......
if you want to play in a team with players you can learn from......
If you want to play in a team where the coach is a leader ............
And that is also reflected and communicated by friends, family, managers and more importantly fellow league stars.

Ok, so it is your assumptions, not facts. Your statements led me to believe you had some inside insights, facts. I was actually interested that you might have some information of note. I can make my own assumptions.

It says a bit about both….players and Coach there is many in our team that are simply not up to 1st Grade standard yet IMO and Taylor has made them play a brand of Footy that simply don't suit it and Moses has said it with the interview with Sterlo a couple of weeks ago that he plays what he sees and takes the line on , but wasn't doing that earlier in the year.

As for Coach there isn't any good Candidates available ? Toovey has great experience and could do something with this squad ( not sure ).
I get the feeling our players are not happy whatever the case may be and it is reflectd on how we are playing . IMO

Robbie bleeds WT and some Hobbo. I think he's been pushed out for cap reasons.

taylor is not even 1% of the coach that Wayne Bennet is.
If you are student of the game you will realize very quickly the difference is as clear as day.
If you listen to Bennet talk about his players - their styles and the style of the team, he very much looks at developing his players and building a plan that encompasses their skills. This is in relation to each player and what their roles are, their skills, the game plan and what they are all working towards.

Taylor on the other hand has basically said - stop playing footy the way you have all your life - and do this…...
well "this" has backfired spectacular 0 on the verge of wooden spoon.
That is not a rookie coach error.
that is ego and a lack of clear leadership on Taylors behalf.

Structures ? there isn't any , Brooks still can't tackle watch the arm grabbing stuff vs the Knights.

Anyway time will tell and i'd be interested to see what Farah says once he leaves the Club .

He has neither jumped or been pushed. He has been offered freedom from his contracted obligation to the club to seek employment elsewhere.
He does not have to do this however. He has acknowledged that he can stay. Of course if he stays he will be expected to perform at a level that accords with his pay scale. If not and the team has another option at number 9 he may find himself in reggies.
His choice.

i think that if he signs with another club we have to agree with the amount.so i doubt that he will sign for 200k more like 450k to 500k.in saying that we are talking about the wests tigers so anything could happen.

Throughout all these discussions is the coach losing the player group. At the start of the year they loved taylors ideas. At some stage we need to hold the playing group up as well. If the playing group is a constant issue change the playing group they are not exactly killing it.

I love robbie but im happy for him to move on we need a group that will focus on whats required.

Yeah, surely they would have made this decision prior to the Leichhardt game, where he could have had a send off from there.

I think now I'm of the same opinion in regards to membership etc….............can't believe they had the gall to send out an email last week and then do this.

What the hell are the rest of the players going to be thinking? "This is how the club treats the captain, a club legend?"

The coach is one thing, but robbie leaving is designed to help the kids and provide them with a more balanced squad. It's clear as day that Taylor's strategies and tactics have totally failed this season. He has to own that and change. If he doesn't then he'll probably be out the door.

The timing is poor, but i think Robbie has overstated the reserve grade nonsense to paint the club in a poor light. There's a big difference between 'theres no guarantees you'll be playing first grade every week' (which should go for all players) and 'you'll be playing reserve grade every week if you stay'.
